Estelle Getty always gave a great depth to her comedic performances. This particular episode was no exception. Of course there were some plot holes in this episode. Did Getty's character have Alzheimer's disease or was she simply reliving a painful day in her past? There is also no real mention of why so many people in city government opposed a library of all things. In addition, the ending was probably too neat and clean.

None the less, this episode of City shines due to Harper and Getty's performances. Both of these wonderful actresses just needed a bit more to work with here.
