Li'l Brings a Gorilla to school in order to get a part in play but in the end the gang send him back to school and he was krunk, loose and crazy up in that mothaf***** like king to the kong man if jibbs featuring chamillionaire song "King Kong" was in the esipode then it will be off the hook the show is great, but the music bananna zoo could use some improvement and big boi[I think]was tight and off the hook and he was snap like crazy up in their and man, this series is getting better by the minute, but better like next time, andre on the music but "O Peanuts and Throwdown" is my favorite songs so farmoreless
  • Lil' D befriends a gorilla, who has the unusual ability to play the drums.

    9.5
"Funky Monkey" may have been a bit off, but with its plot and quirky humor, there is no doubt that this is another good episode to see.

Lil' D and his pals gets hired for a musical play based on King Kong, and Lil' D is choosen to videotape a gorilla from the zoo for an actor. During the zoo, Lil' D meets a gorilla with the usual habit to play the drums like a pro, and follows Lil' D as a result. But things goes ape when the gorilla, to his dismay, is chosen to play the title role, and Lil' D, while trying to calm down, must decide what's important: the play or his friendship.

Good humors, great animation and music, this episode gets a 9.5 out of 10.moreless
  • Awesome! It gets funnier and funnier. The music video looked great too!

Awesome! It gets funnier and funnier. The music video looked great too! The art direction in this show is top notch. The characters look unique and the BGS look like paintigs. I have to say that my favorites are Eddie and Madison. I love their one liners but the rest of the characters react really well to each other. The show gives us the funny and it also has heart. Something shows miss these days. Sunny plays a great role model to these talented kids. I hope this show goes to 10 seasons! Plus Andre 3000 music. Couldn't ask for more.moreless
  • This show was a bit of a let down.

    8.0
The first parts were funny indeed. But when the class got to the play I noticed something diffrent. Madison was not as peppy as she normally is. GASP! Kim and Kam did not say much in this show as they did before. The song was ok but not great at all. On of the best parts is the Donkey Kong refrance. The Free Willie refrance was cool also. This show was just not the best one. I feel bad for anyone who watched this for the first time and got a bad impression of the show. Sub-par Andre but I know there is more to come.moreless
