  • This is one of the best episode of cott that has ever been made.

This episode is a mixture of sad and awsome. When I first saw it, I was like, oh, they could take care of that. Then it bit Jay! My first reaction was "Oh crap." I didn't know if he would die right there, or if he would still be alive, but incredubaly weak, and they would have a hard time getting him to take the treatment, then his body wouldn't let it help him. When the team was inside the gate, and Herry was playing with Cerberus, that made me laugh really hard. But Jay's life theard was really sweet, he was such a cute little kid.:) I was so glad at the end of the episode he was back to normal. When the episode was over, I thought, wow he sure is going to want to have a long sleep. Excellent music in the life theard, I cried at that part, just slilent tears.moreless

This is probably the best episode I have ever seen!! When Jay died i was soo sad *cry*, but then his friends saved him!!! woot woot!! I thought it was hilarious to see Herry and Minos fighting like little kids over the gavel LOL! Chornus was also funny when he was trying on costumes my favorite quote is...

Cronos: I'm not going to the senior prom, I'm going to rule the world. I need something that says "Kneel Before Me!" with a hint of "Obey My Every Command!"

He was so excited when the prophesy was broken and when he came up to take over the world he was very dissapointed when nothing happend.

I loved this episode and everyone should watch it!!!!moreless

This episode is one of those episodes where you read the summary and you can't wait to watch it. And no wonder when you see the words; 'Jay is dead!' Pop up on your screen.

This episode was adventurous, nerve-racking, funny and cute. The whole concept of Jay never giving up on his life until Athropos said she would hurt his friends was very sad. It sounds a bit corny because of the whole 'He's dead so they go save him' thing. The dramatic 'We must go forth to the depths of the Underworld for our leader!' is what you might think the episode is like. True in parts, but a little humour always lightens the mood.

Neil is very funny when he just steps off the path. "But she said to 'Stay on the path!" "Yeah, so we could get here." Then Neil steps off and is all, "See no problem?" And he turns to stone. Another funny element is Herry's ever ragging battle with King Minos. One of the best Class of the Titans moments!

It also develops the Titans roles when Jay is gone. Theresa kin of takes over the leader role and Odie is as cunning as ever, this episode developed that some more.

And add all of that with even more mythology leasons and you have... "Road to Hades".moreless
  • A great episode

    9.1
I thouroughly enjoyed this episode, but I especially enjoyed the sections of the episode with spirit Jay. I liked it whe he said \"Oh crud\" when he found out he was dead. It sounded really funny! While it wasn\'t my absolute favourite episode, it\'s worth watching. I did find that when jay said \"Not like this\" when he was poisened a bit corny, but I guess there wasn\'t much else that would have sounded better. There were a couple of Theresa/Jay moments, Mainly when Jay was poisened, when the gang was ready to give up (Except for Theresa) and in Jay\'s flashback where there was a moment with him and Theresa.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • One of the Fates is shown leading Jay to the Underworld but this is contrary to Greek mythology and the Olympian faith. It's Hermes who leads departed souls to the Underworld. He is also the one god who is not affected by the presence of death.

    • Aconite and asphodel are completely different plants, so why would aconite be the only thing growing in the Plains of Asphodel?

    • According to the show, Cerberus is supposedly friendly to all those who enter Hades. This is not true. If Cerberus really was friendly, would Orpheus have to lull it to sleep with his lyre so he could get Eurydice back?

    • When the kids are in the Hall of Judgment in the Underworld and Minos' is about to send them to Tartarus, watch the background figures behind everyone except Herry -- every time we see them, you can see a Catholic nun standing with the souls awaiting judgment. It seems like in the show's universe, the Olympian faith is the right one.

    • Atropos;

Atropos is the oldest of the Fates, and most fearsome of the three. She "waits around with her shears to cut the thread of life after it has been spun by Clotho and measured by Lachesis".
