Jamie: There's a wrapping paper station. Yes! This is so awesome!
Peter: That's what clutter does. It completely blocks you from living.
Peter: The first rule of life --- "never listen to your own advice."
Peter: My grandmother used to say "you could go broke saving money."
Jamie: I'm getting rid of my wedding dress. Peter: First time in the history of the show.
Eric: Design for everyone else. Why don't I ever get one of these for my own home?
Tava: (strumming guitar and singing) If you Sell / You will be well / Sometimes you Keep / It makes you weep / Toss Toss Toss.
Peter: You know you have trouble with the playroom when even the kids are scared to go in there.
Jamie: I sort of have a habit of inviting people to bring stuff into this room.
The title of the episode riffs off of lyrics from the oldie "Chapel of Love." We're going to the chapel / And we're gonna get married / Going to the chapel and we're gonna get married / Going to the chapel of love.
The total yard sale haul was greater than the amount of money the Clean Sweep team spent on the workroom.
Clean Sweep on the Street: Peter talks with a woman in the supermarket. He recommends for her a sliding container in which she can store chalk and such for her kids. He suggests that when it comes to organization, it's a good idea to get the kids and the whole family involved.
The chosen yard sale prizes in this episode were cans of paint for Jamie and a snake construct for Jon that's a family heirloom. Jamie sold $458 worth of stuff as opposed to Jon's $406 and was told that she could keep her cans of paint. However, she told Jon that a phone call had come in about another sale and gave him $150 of her money, allowing him to keep the snake construct.
