Peter: (regarding the office) This is most expensive room I've ever done.
Peter: Oh, the obligatory wedding dress! Lynne: I bet you've never seen one of those, huh?
Lynne: I'd like to take a stick of dynamite in the center of the room and just "boom!"
Tava: It's hard to see past the Keep pile, but we did a good job.
Peter: I want to see the no-clutter hug right now.
Tava: Get those castanets out. Let's hear it for our yard sale.
Peter: (shaking Dave's hand) good for you. There's not many men out there that could stand up to their mother-in-law.
Peter: You have to start at Step 1. There is too much stuff.
Lynne: I found a Sell! Ya'ay, Sell, ya'ay!
Lynne: I'm gonna do the Spanish dance around the cash box!
Tava: How about that? Trash cans out, hampers in. Dave: I don't miss the trash can.
Tava: (regarding the bedroom) There were some big trash cans in here. It was craziness. Open your eyes.
Peter: Lynne had a piece of clutter for every memory.
Clean Sweep on the Street: Peter is once again looking in a woman's handbag. He comes the woman, Constance, his "hero," complimenting her on the compartments in her handbag and the small amount of stuff she carries.
The chosen yard sale prizes in this episode were a model car for Dave and castanets for Lynne. Both Dave and Lynne took in a large haul at the yard sale. It was Lynne, however, who beat Dave, selling $520 worth of stuff as opposed to his $450.35, allowing her to keep her castanets.
Both rooms were way over the increasingly mythical $2,000 budget. The bedroom was done for $1,370 and the office came in at $1,440, for a total of $2,810. Peter frely admitted that he spent more on the office in this episode than he had spent on any other room in the show's history.
