      • Atlantis Atlantis was a myth created by the philosopher Plato in his dialogue "Critias". The myth had it's roots in the real life destruction of the island of Santerini when it's volcano erupted. The eruption also created a tidal wave which destroyed the Minoan civilization on Crete.

      • Aquaman Cleo calls Granger "Aquaman", a nod to the DC Comics superhero. He too can swim at depths impossible for an ordinary human.
