I had high hopes for this episode since I had loved the actress Danielle Cormack when she played Ephiny on Xena. Unfortunately the actress makes a much better Amazon Queen than a psycho psychic. So, as usual we got a healthy dose of T&A, some action, and a creepy bad guy for our gals to defeat. What can I say, the T&A was fine, the action was adequate, even more than adequate when Hel and Sarge throw down. Which takes me right back to Raina. I don't know, I guess she just wasn't menacing enough. Creegan's Jokeresque creepiness I can appreciate, but slinky Raina just didn't do it for me. Maybe she could have added to the creep factor (and the fascination factor) if she had been played Raina with an overt lesbian twist. It would have added a personal note to her manipulation of the girls that was sadly missing.

One good thing to this episode was that Cleo got to be helpful in a way other than her skill at "exotic dancing". Helpless, shrieking Cleo gets old fast, so it's a relief seeing her do something positive quietly.
