  • Trivia

    • Gunpowder was declared illegal before the Baileys took over the surface.

    • We discover that Marcus, Voice's first Team Leader, is a thaw (someone criogenically frozen) like Cleo. That explains his preference for out of date weaponry.

    • Cleo has a busy time. She sings the torch song "I Get A Kick Out Of You", she gets a boyfriend, and she indulges in fisticuffs (successfully, surprisingly enough).

  • Quotes

    • Cleopatra: So Marcus was here 'til midnight three days ago. Supposed to meet a big guy about Betrayer information. Somebody must have followed him out.
Hel: How do you find all this out?!
Cleopatra: I pour myself into this dress and the boys start pouring out their hearts.

    • Cleopatra: (to her friends) Careful? Nothing bad ever happens at a karaoke bar!

    • Drack: (trying to find which woman had a donated kidney) Hey sweetheart, are those your original organs? (the woman responds by slapping him)

    • Cleopatra: (in referrence to the discovery of the tracker her new boyfriend just planted on her) No, he just likes keeping tabs on a girl he likes, like a stalker, only nicer!

    • Mauser: We should have no trouble synthesizing a vaccine from Cleo's immunities.
Hel: Well congratulations, Cleo. You just saved the Underworld.
      Cleopatra: Again?

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • Cleo (to Drack): Is that all I am to you? A thaw? Some kind of 'Typhoid' Cleo?

Typhoid Cleo is an allusion to the famed Typhoid Mary, the first woman in the United States to be identified as a healthy carrier of typhoid fever.

    • When Cleo enters the lab after seeing Drack for the second time she sings, "I Could Have Danced All Night", from the musical My Fair Lady.

    • Cleo: (talking about a man who attacked Drack) ...And all of a sudden this WWF wannabe bulldozes him.

Cleo is making an allusion to the wrestling organization, the WWF, which is owned by Vince McMahon, where most of the men a very large and muscular.

    • Cleo's song "I Get A Kick Out Of You" was first recorded by Dinah Washington.

    • Film Noir
The title is an allusion to the movie genre "film noir", which usually includes a down and out private eye and a shady lady.
