I have no opinion on this show, since there are only two episodes, but seriously, only two episodes!?!? Come on, this could have lasted longer... what channel DID this air on anyways?

Okay, but why did it only take two episodes to cancel it?

Theres actually 6 episodes. The other 4 were unaired but are on the dvd. I bought the dvd for 8 dollars brand new and it has commentary and all the typical Kevin Smith features, it's a nice set expecially considering the cost. But yea, a clerks cartoon without cussing was never a good idea. And while I some what like it, I don't at the same time.

I too think it's cheap to cancel a show after only two episodes but they do it fairly often.

That show Twenty Good Years that was new this season, it got canceled within 1 or 2 episodes as well.

    Ah, I see.

Well, too bad they didn't do that with Freak Show...

That's the new David Cross show right?

    Did that get cancelled already?

If so, that's really too bad I never got the chance to see it but both him and Jeffery Tambour (Twenty Good Years)...not sure on the last name spelling didn't deserve to be canceled after what just happened with Arrested Development.

But we need to do something to get this forum going!

Unfortunately, it's very typical today for shows to be cancelled after just two episodes.

If you listen to the commentary, Kevin talks about how "The Network" (ABC) hated the show before it even aired! They never really promoted the show right before it actually started airing, so the ratings were bad since no one knew it was on! It was a very backhanded decision to pull the show before the audience found it so ABC could show more reruns of "Home Improvement" when they weren't showing "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" (which was just starting to get popular). The TVGuide actually had the new "Clerks" episodes in their listings for the next four weeks!

I disagree with hilljafufu I thought the cartoon series was very funny, even though they had to keep the language network appropriate. If the show had been released a few years later on adult swim I think it could have done very well.

I'm not saying I don't like it, and I agree if it would've come along a couple of years later...even on the same network it would've been better. Major networks have been letting their shows go a lot further over the last couple of years.
