Show Summary

Cliff! is a music variety show from the UK that replays the best moments from a British pop star's two syndicated TV series running between 1962-1971. Britain's Independent Television Network gathers clips from Sir Cliff Richard's popular TV shows during the sixties and seventies and broadcasts them for another generation to see. Viewers tuning in can find the artist performing live and in front of a studio audience the hits that made him famous, including the songs "Congratulations," "Big Ship" and "Power to All Our Friends." Richard invites celebrities each week to his show, and he performs sketch and slapstick comedy in-between numbers. Some of the episodes include singer-songwriter Olivia Newton-John, British guitarist Hank Marvin and actress Una Stubbs co-hosting the show with Richards. The program has the host dancing show tunes with special guests and playing games with the studio audience throughout the season. Famous European musicians also stop by Richard's show to promote their albums. The Rolling Stones sing a melody with Richards and Newton-John in one episode, and Pearly Gates & Segment introduce their new disco hit called "Rock The Boat" later in the season.
