Construction workers are working on a new wading pool for the park, as well as the sidewalk leading up to it. For fun, they let everybody leave their handprint in it. Jetta wants to go further; she has Mac leave his pawprint. Then it's suggested that Clifford leave his pawprint. He leaves it, but it's too big and leaves a deep hole that has to be filled in. Later on, Mac tells T-Bone and Cleo about how he got to leave his pawprint and also about what happened with Clifford. They suggest that if Clifford couldn't leave his pawprint there, there should be somewhere else he can leave it. They try a myriad of schemes, each of which Mac is quite down on and tries to stop, but to no avail. First they try leaving Clifford's pawprint in the sand at the beach, but it gets washed away. They try the grass at the park, but that gets mowed down. They try a pit of mud, but more mud bubbles rise up, filling up the hole. Finally, Emily Elizabeth calls Clifford. It turns out they want to do the new wading pool in the shape of Clifford's pawprint. Later on we see the cement after it's dried and the wading pool filled in. The idea was a big hit.

"Then Came Bob"
It's Kite Day on Birdwell Island and Emily Elizabeth, Charley, Jetta and Vaz are all ready to get to work on a neat kite. It just so happens that today, Vaz is looking after Dr. Dihn's dog, Bob. This wouldn't be such a big deal, except that well, Bob is a bit of a jerk. He's the type that plays the innocent act while no in charge is looking, but is a real scamp when you turn the other way. Throughout the day, Clifford is constantly left to look after Bob and then gets blamed when Bob gets into mischief. He climbs where he shouldn't, causes a mess in front of Ms. Martinez's shop and more! Each time, Clifford is blamed for the incidents, mainly by Jetta. (Emily Elizabeth maintains his innocence.) Finally, while everybody is flying their kite, Bob manages to find trouble one last time. But this time, Dr. Dihn has returned from her trip, and she's there to find Bob and make sure he gets the blame. She calls Clifford the best behaved dog on the island and says that she hopes that perhaps Bob could learn some manners from him.moreless
Dr. Dihn: I think that I'll keep this little guy with me for the rest of the day. Emily Elizabeth: And I think that I'll keep this big guy with me forever.
Clifford: Any time Bob disappears, I end up in trouble. Cleo: Yeah, I noticed that.
Bob: Oh, if there's one thing I hate, it's sharing.
Mac: The cement was all squishy and wet, but I bravely placed my paw down without blinking an eye.
