This episode was quite unbelievable...unbelievably bad, I might add. While I love it when the good guys win and the baddies go to jail for a looooong time, there was simply no way the jury could have convicted this man "beyong a reasonable doubt", as they are told they must do. He made sure the DNA was stolen, made a little slip up when he was recorded as saying the victim was strangled with her bra, but he could have heard that on the grapevine, sealed coroner's report or not. Other than that, what was the evidence in this case??? Absolutely zilch, zero, zip, niente, rien, nada, nothing! Hope the last episode is up to usual standards again, nice that Annabeth has a love interest!moreless

Annabeth faces a lot of challenges both as a lawyer
And as a mom as she excels at both. While also trying to be a good single mom to her daughter. She also tries to prosecute a dirty cop. When the money he and his family were using were to help a youth center. When in fact was used for prostitution and drugs. Meanwhile, Conlon is funning a campaign on his own. And must face deamons of his own as well. Very good show!moreless

The D.A. office has another chance to prosecute dirty detective Veeder, but they are having troubles because someone of inside is destroying evidence. The Veeders were running a Youth center, but it was used for wash money and to get the girl as sex dates for men.

The character's plot behind the case, for me, was more attractive. First Annabeth is attracted to the really hot detective Matt, and worried about her own and her daughter's life. At the end, despite the fact she is still wearing her wedding ring, she's ready to move on.

Conlon is running for some political position and his own campaign manager is involved in the murders, so he faces scandal vs. advance in political points. Of course he chooses the truth and faces the scandal.

The poor Maureen took the worst part at the end. Somebody is stalking her and breaking into her car.moreless
