a well written & well acted episode. i knew that carla wouldn't of killed the little boy on purpose. it was a bit upsetting when they found the boy in the trunk. overall this was a great episode of close to home. i just wish we could see more of Christian Kane! lol
  • Creepy.

In this episode, from the first scene, where Bailey's father takes him into his room at the party, I knew something was going to hapen with him. This episode was heartbreaking! I was actually really surprised that the father had nothing to do with the kidnapping, not because of his past but because of that first scene. Why DID he close the door when he went in with Bailey? Also, no real coincedences, so I really liked this episode.
  • This episode was a remake of the incident that occured in New Jersey where the three friends were found sufforcated in a trunk of an abandoned car.

The episode begins with a married couple called the Eriksons who are having a party for their friends at their home. During the party their six year old son awakes and walks downstairs to be only taken back up to his room by his dad.

On waking the next morning six year old Bailey is nowhere to be found and the police are called in.

As usual, the police things its another case of JonBenet Ramsey, but surprisingly enough it turns out not to be the parents but just a neighbour who wants a new life and a child.

Karla wanted Bailey for herself, only she ended up taking his sweet life away, because she was drunk and laid him in the trunk of her car rather than doing what mostly all criminals do, bring the child in the house and tie and gag him.
