Annabeth: Did the hospital give you a hard time?
Det. Drummer: Did they? It was like, I was trying to get them to give me weapons of mass destruction.
Jacob: In this family, hiding secrets is what we do best.
Jacob: (to Annabeth and Maureen) My mom died because of drugs, but she wasn't the one abusing them.

Annabeth: I suggest you do that and tell he that your about to be arrested for murder.
Det. Drummer: So we're looking for a diary?
Annabeth: It's 2006 Lou, check her computer.
Annabeth: She kept her trouble marriage from her mother?
Maureen: Are you kidding me? Especially from her mother.
Jacob: (to Annabeth) My dad's a doctor, his never home and my mom volunteers. What kind of marriage do you think they have?
Medical Examiner: (to Annabeth) By the way, if I were planning to stab myself, I'd want to be heavily medicated.
Steve: Stabbing yourself. I mean, that's got to hurt.
Maureen: He's a surgeon, he's got the guts to do it.
Det. Drummer: How long have you and Austin lived together?
Austin's Roommate: I just spilt the rent with him, we're not gay or freaky or anything.
