  • Awesome episode

Another awesome episode of close to home. I think this is the best one so far :) I really liked it they dealt with real problems that can happen during a case. I thought Jennifer was playing very well this episode better as the previous episodes and the already played those well. I hope it will stay a good serie :)
  • Another good episode of close to home.

This is the second episode that I saw of this series and I got to say that I'm starting to like it. At the beginning I thought that it was going to be a boring episode because not much happened just a car was stolen and a baby 'kidnapped' wich where returned almost at the same time. But the episode got better and better at some points I thought it would be predictabale just to turn out different then I thought, so I can recommend this episode to everyone, of course it's a story that we know from other series and movies but Close to Home succeeds in making it interesting.

  • Another okay episode

    7.6
I have to say, Annabeth winning every case is getting a little old. This would have been the perfect opportunity for her to lose. Yeah, a kid was taken, but no one was killed. It's the sort of case where the guy shouldn't walk, but if he does, it won't be too heartbreaking. It's just that everything always seems to work out for the best. They just HAPPEN to get the tip in the nick of time. The detective just HAPPENS to ID the blurry guy correctly. There just HAPPENS to be a student filming his section. Although it was a good case, I just want to see Annabeth lose once, just for the sake of realism. Still, the fact that Doug sent the person who tipped her off added some heart to the episode.moreless
  • A woman is held up at an ATM machine and her assislaint takes her vehicle with her son inside.

    6.9
This episode is basically gang related and it tries to show the extent they will go to threaten witnesses and the lead prosecutor herself.

Calvin Riggs holds up a woman at the ATM and demands her car which she is ready to give up but she wants to get her son out safely, which he refuses knowing that doing so may get him caught. He speeds aways with his victims child in the backseat only to have a cop on his tail within minutes.

He abandones the vehicle and runs into a nearby video acarade, with the poilceman in hot pursuit. The cop did not actually know who the culprit was but he was pointed out to him by the security guard who sensed something was amissed by the way that Calvin acted.

The case is handed over to Annabeth who is pushed by Steve to get a conviction.

The security guard is called in as a witness but he is scared to testify but, Maureen pushes him into doing it and promise that he'll get witness protection.

On the day of his testimony the security guard is being escorted to the trial by two plice men, but he still falls victim to a drive by shooting, courtesy of Calvin's gang the Mac 10's.

Although, he is not critically injured, he refuses to be further invloved, and the attention is then forcused on Annabeth and her family. Her daughter is found with a bullet in her hand and the police protection has been switched to Annabeth.

Overall, I would say an average episode.
