This episode features guest host Melissa Reeves (Days of our Lives) with an exclusive interview with American Idol winner Carrie Underwood at her Oklahoma hometown during a recent stop on the American Idol tour. Katie Cook will return from her vacation next week; Faith Hill is back on track with her new CD, FireFlies, debuting straight to No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Insider talked with her to get to know her reaction for the success; New country group Sugarland are set to team up with legendary rock group Bon Jovi for a special CMT Crossroads episode. Insider has a sneak peek at what fans can expect from this exciting rock and country matchup; Country star Trace Adkins' latest hit, Arlington, is a touching tribute honoring a soldier's story of dying for his country and being buried in Arlington National Cemetery. CMT Insider talked with Adkins and the songwriters to get the story behind the powerful song; John Rich, half of the duo Big & Rich, has been a dominate force on the singles charts recently, as a songwriter. Including Faith Hill's Mississippi Girl, Rich has seen tremendous success from his songwriting abilities. Insider caught up with Rich and some of the stars who have recorded his songs to find out what draws artists to his songs.
