"We all anticipate one of the most thrilling CMA Awards shows ever." "I've watched the CMA awards since I was a little kid, and to be a part of announcing this year's nominees is a real thrill for me," said Wilson. With all his recent success and super-stardom, it seems like Kenny Chesney's been at the top of the country charts since he released his first single. Not so. Host Katie Cook will look back at some early interviews with the Tennessee native from his first days as a recording artist. He looks and sounds a bit different than the star he has turned into, but there's a glimmer in his eyes that proves he was destined to sit at the top of the charts for a long time. Talk about reminiscing, with the July 4 holiday upon us, we thought it would be fun to visit with stars about how it feels to perform "The Star Spangled Banner" in front of large audiences at some of the country's biggest events.
