CMT Insider was on hand for Keith Urban and Toby Keith at Philadelphia for the Live 8 concert. Insider had a complete wrap-up of the event, including an exclusive look at Tim McGraw and Faith Hill at the concert in Rome; Insider caught up the new group Greencards, who have been creating quite a buzz while on the road opening for Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, and got an exclusive look at the trio and found out about their unique sound; CMT was also on hand for Willie Nelson’s opening of a new bio diesel gas station and his annual Fourth of July picnic in his home state of Texas. Insider sat down with the star to talk about both events; Country rebel Hank Williams Jr. has been the face and music behind the successful Monday Night Football opening for years. As Monday Night Football makes its move from ABC next season, Williams has taped his final opening featuring his famous words, Are you ready for some football?. CMT Insider was behind the scenes for the taping and talked with the star about a tradition coming to an end.
