Coach Season 3 Episode 13

Dauber graduates after eight years. Congratulations are in order, respect is in order, and he does receive them from Hayden who also promotes him to regular coach.





But Hayden is stuck in his old ways of treating Dauber as his little assistant who is at his beck and call carrying out menial duties, one of which is to wash his truck.





Dauber points out to Hayden the new role he has assumed and his unwillingness to continue the chores he did for Hayden before, but Hayden refuses to see the situation as Dauber does,instead playing stubborn, refusing to attend Dauber's graduation.





In the end Hayden does turn up, albeit rather late and appologizes to Dauber citing washing his truck as the reason he was late. A very good episode showing Dauber maturing and the subtle change in the relationship between himself and Hayden.
