  • Luther gets suspended from gambling.

This is one of the funniest episodes of the first season of "Coach". I have it on the 1st season on DVD and one of the "Coach" video tapes called "The Best of Luther". Another loss of the Minnesota Screaming Eagles when Iowa (although I don't know what Iowa's tema was since it wasn't mentioned) wins; the score of the game was 44 to 3. Luther wins meat by betting against his own team. Hayden then suspends him for 30 days, which is almost like a month. Then Hayden decides to bring Luther back from suspension. The funniest part was that Luther Van Dam wakes Hayden Fox in the morning, just like my brother pretends to when he wakes a neighbor up at midnight. Like I said, this is one of the best episodes of Season 1!moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • In this episode, Minnesota State loses 44 to 3 to the University of Iowa. At the time this episode aired, Iowa's real-life coach was Hayden Fry, and that name inspired the creation of "Hayden Fox."

    • In the scene where Hayden confronts Luther, who is working as a waiter in the restaurant, Luther can be seen holding a pot of coffee with both hands. His right hand is holding the handle, while his left hand can, at times, be seen supporting the bottom of the coffee pot. If the coffee were actually hot, Luther would have burned his left hand.
