Tommy Lasorda was the longtime manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and was the spokesman for Slim Fast in the early 90's. Later, Luther paraphrases a common line of Slim Fast commercials of the era when he says "I had a shake for breakfast a shake for Lunch and now I'm going to have a sensible dinner."
