      • In this episode, the Monday night game that decides whether the Breakers will make the playoffs is between the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions. Both the Lions and 49ers are members of the NFC (National Football Conference). Therefore the Breakers must also be in the NFC. However, it is also revealed that the Breakers (should they get in the playoffs) would play the Buffalo Bills in their first playoff game. The Bills are a member of the American Football Conference (AFC). This scenario is impossible under NFL playoff rules since AFC teams don't play NFC teams in playoff competition other than in the Super Bowl.
