Basically Coast is a programme which visits various places or sites around the UK coast. It's a fascinationg programme which deals not only with history but also geography, geology, biology and environmental issues. For example the dunes west of Dumfries where used to test tnt when it was first developed. As well as the UK Coast has also visited Eire (the Iriah Republic). The present presenter is Neil Oliver a professor at a Glasgow university, he has the ability to bring facts to life and to make them interesting.

All in all I find this programme to be one of the most facinating and informative on TVmoreless
  • A Very Intresting Show...

    8.5
Coast is a show that really gives you a in depth look at the coastal regions of the British Isles it is very intresting some of the storeis you here on the show and some of the landmarks you see are amazing. My two brothers enjoy this show and they got me into watching it. The show is presented well and hopefully we will see another season soon. I'm not a big fan of factual shows but I have to say seeing this show it is probably one of the best shows of it's kind out there. The BBC have done a great job here and it is in my opinion one of there best shows in recent years.moreless
