Normally I would be the first one to say that every Code Lyoko episode is great. This episode, unfortunetly, was not. It was the worst I out of all of them. (still gave this episode a 6.5) It had practically no action, very poor planning, and the only thing I liked about this episode is odd got mixed up with a dog. I mean normally I am on the edge of my seat like in the episode "hot shower". Oh ya that reminds me. I have all the new episodes and my friend is covering the old ones for download on my website. 100% free =D lyokoepisodedownloads.myfastforum.org

  • Kiwi's pretty handy on Earth so, Odd thinks it'd be great to have him fight on Lyoko. By bringing Kiwi into the scanner with him Odd accidentally fuses their DNA and it's up to Jeremie to separate them before they become one forever.moreless

This episode was really entertaining and intense and it's always fun to see odd things happen to Odd. I was kind of sad that they didn't show Odd with a tail though and it was a little weird that they did not show him being devirtualized by William. Other than that the episode was complete with biker thugs and the ever present and annoying Sissi. I liked the way Yumi made the cover for William's clone's stupidity to be that she was dating him, but I was surprised that Ulrich wasn't very jealous. It was a step up for him. All in all I give this episode a 10 and it is my favorite episode so far.moreless
  • a fun filler but a filler by any other name would smell as . . . you know the rest.

    9.1
odd wants a partner in lyoko. who better than his little diggy dog. jeremie says no but odd sneaky him in under his shirt. they become one in mind. on side story the william's clone lack of intelligant thought causes trouble. yumi pretends they are dating so sissi doesn't get her father involued. sissi is not so sure if they are going out. she follows them everywhere. strangely enough a biker gang sets up in the entrance of the factory. kewodd attacks and they all run inside. yumi shows up and is attack by xana-bikers. odd and kewi are separted and no r.t.t.p.

the only plot point was they now said yumi is in tenth grade now and ulrich, odd, jeremie, aelita is in ninth.moreless
  • Odd's attempt to bring Kiwi to Lyoko literally brings them together!

    9.1
This was an interesting episode. I always wondered what would happen if Kiwi went to Lyoko. Too bad he didn't. Odd should have put Kiwi in another scanner instead of undr his shirt. I knew something bad was going to happen when he did that! The William clone is so funny! I really loathe William, so I always laugh at him when he looks stupid. In this episode, I saw that there was a little bit of an UxY moment instead of an AxJ moment luckily. I am a supporter of both, so it's good to see them both sometimes. I almost died of laughter when Odd almost stripped in front of Aelita Ulrich and Jeremie! Poor Aelita, she got pretty scared at that moment! As far as fillers go, this one was all right.moreless
  • When Odd tries to bring Kiwi to Lyoko with him, their DNAs become entwined. Now, Jeremy must find a way to reverse them or Odd will be a dog forever.

    8.4
This episode was good, but it wasn't my favorite. To tell you the truth, it was kind of disturbing. I was thrilled at the idea of Kiwi getting virtualized on Lyoko, but I was disappointed that we were never able to see him. Instead, Kiwi and Odd merged together and Odd was turing into Kiwi - tail and all. It was funny how Odd nearly stripped in front of Ulrich, Jeremy, and Aelita when he felt he was growing a tail. It was also funny how Odd was able to find Jim's watch in less than 5 seconds by using Kiwi's sense of smell. There were plenty of funny scenes in this episode, but none are as funny as the scene when Odd/Kiwi was about to get virtualized to Lyoko. Jeremy was telling him the procedure he would be using to reverse the DNA sequences, and when Odd had no idea what he was talking about, Ulrich took it upon himself to explain it to Odd. The way Ulrich explained it was hilarious! I didn't really care for the scenes on Lyoko. I didn't like how the creators used the slow motion every time someone was hit or devirtualized. I hope they don't get into the habit of doing that.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • When Jeremie goes to the factory the second time, he presses the up button on the elevator when it's on the ground floor.

    • In the assembly room, Yumi faulted off the biker and jumped a good twenty feet through the air to land on the stairs. Even giving that she had leverage from the biker's shoulder, it would be physically impossible for Yumi to jump that high and that far given the laws of physics.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • (After Odd asked Jeremie to let Kiwi go to Lyoko)
Jeremie: No way, Odd. Besides, Kiwi is such a coward, he'd take off the second he sees a Kankrelat.
Odd: As fast as you did the time you went to Lyoko?

    • Ulrich: (about Odd) Don't look back. There's a stray dog following us.
Odd: You don't want to get bitten in the leg, you better shut up.

  • NOTES (6)

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • The Fly

Odd merging with Kiwi after he took his dog into the scanners with him is an allusion to the 1986 sci-fi horror movie, The Fly starring Jeff Goldblum. It's about a Scientist who begins to take on the mental and physical characteristics of a fly that unbenknowst to him had snuck into a teleportation device that he was testing out.

    • Yumi: Bit shaken, but not stirred.

This is a take on one of James Bond's famous lines, that he'll take a martini, "Shaken, not stirred."
