Hi everyone! I haven't been here on such a long time, but I had to post. Today I was on Facebook, and the Official Code Lyoko page claims that Code Lyoko will be back with 26 new episodes, entitled Code Lyoko: Evolution.

    Further proof: http://codelyoko.com/

What does this mean!? Is this a joke, or is the series really returning? Will it air on Cartoon Network? Will Cartoon Network ever actually air the remaining episodes from season 4? ARE YOU EXCITED AS MUCH AS I AM!!!???

EDIT: According to this Moonscoop presentation (http://www.moonscoop.com/files/FREE/CL%20Presentation%20MIPTV%202011.pdf),Code Lyoko: Evolution will be a "new live-action/animation season." ...Is that a good thing?

I am excited. I just hope that they give XANA some depth. Why exactly does it want to kill humanity instead of trying to peacefully co-exist? However, if this "evolution" is a joke, it is a cruel one.

I agree; I'd love more depth to Xana. I also think that the new season may include a search for Aelita's mom.... It is being called 'Evolution' so something new must come up.... Maybe a revamped Lyoko, with the gang needing to go there for a different reason? And will the gang be older, or the same age?

Wow... I just can't believe the show is coming back. The show ended four years ago, and I felt a chapter of my life closed. But now in 2012, Code Lyoko and Avatar: The Last Airbender are coming back for me to watch!!! Its just that so much time has passed for it to be appropriate for someone of my age to watch such shows! And I hope people know this news, and come back on the forums!!!

I'm excited, but also worried. If the story telling is there live action can be great like with Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future.

But, if the story isn't too good the best we can hope for would be a mediocre show like Nickelodeon's attempts at live action (watchable, but not fantastic). Also, who would act in this? Is it going to be a French cast that's dubbed into English? Or will they film both an American cast and a French one?

I'm thinking the Lyoko sequences might still be completely 3d, so they don't have to re-invent the wheel so to speak.

So excited to see it again. Not sure how god it will be in live action, but I wont make an opinion till the eps come out.

It's great to see that there's gonna be a new season/series for Code Lyoko and all, though I have some doubts in terms of the live action part. But who knows? At least its good to hear news about the show again.

I am so happy! Maybe this will give us CLRPers some more ideas for future arcs.

A month ago, Moonscoop updated their Code Lyoko Evolution PDF which revealed a lot of the new seasons content such as:

    1) a new Lyoko Vehicle (Megapod)

    2) a new Monster Enemy (Ninja - they kinda look like Ben10's Upgrade)

    3) a new Lyoko Sector (Cortex)

    4) layout of the live-action factory

    5) the new Lyoko Warrior outfits (Including William)

    6) new weapons (Yumi's staff, Odd's claw, Aelita's wrist-watches, William's swords)

    7) rehall of the Lyoko Towers (has A LOT of Tron inspiration)

    And a few other details.

I'm not sure what the website is for the PDF, but assafmarty put it on youtube for everyone to see.

Whoa, this is real? I remember hearing something about a live action/CGI hybrid ages ago when everyone was begging for a 5th season...for it to be real just left me stunned.
