After a trip to Carthage, Jeremy gets the data he thinks will help find the anti-virus. That days P.E. class is a rock climbing wall challenge. When Ulrich is up against William, he freezes part way up from a bad case of vertigo. XANA attacks by unleashing a pack of wolves to attack the gang. Jeremy gives Aelita the anti-virus, which causes her to turn invisible. Aelita must go to Lyoko alone, while Ulrich tries to overcome his fear. Aelita avoids the Scipizoa and is able to deactivate the tower, before the wolves tare the gang apart. After a RTTP, Ulrich admits his vertigo to William, and says it's better then his fear of spiders. Odd is interested in what it's like to be invisible, which he has always wanted, apparently. This episode had its moments and was pretty good for developing characters.

a willaim / ulrich contest. not that there needs to be. the rock wall. william wins and we find out ulrich is afriad of hieght. he gets vertigo. vertigo - dizziness or swimming of the head; giddiness. we see evdentce of this in xana awakens part 2. sliding donw the ropes to get to the elevtor. he stops for a moment before making himself go down there like that. a xanaifed wolf attack, they had to climb up a cliff. ulrich has problems. later they find out the wolfs aren't real. later after a r.t.t.p. ulrich won't climb the wall and william goes on like 'what? got vertigo?" ulrich like. "yeah. i do." william looks like a huge jerk.
  • An anti-virus for Aelita goes horribly wrong and makes it so she's invisible and can't deactivate a tower.

It was cool how Odd turned the count down off. The creepers kept shooting at him so he was down several life points. When he jumped the reach the key, he was shot by a creeper and was being devirtualized right as he pushed the switch. It appears the flying mantas have a new power: hatching flying mines that explode when they are close to their victim. I'm surprised one of them didn't hit Ulrich and Aelita. I can't stand William! He challenged Ulrich to climb the wall and race him - in front of Yumi. It was a shame Ulrich is afraid of heights. He could have beaten William if he wasn't afraid. This is the second time William has caused Ulrich to embarrass himself in front of Yumi. It was exciting to learn that Jeremy and Aelita found an anti-virus. It's just too bad that it didn't really help at all. It made Aelita invisible and so she was unable to deactivate a tower. That's scary how XANA possessed wolves started attacking. I don't like wolves. It's funny how they were only images and not real wolves. Only two of them were real. Good thing too because Ulrich would have been eaten. I was so scared for Ulrich. It was stressful knowing that he might not be able to climb that huge mound of rock because of his vertigo. Thank goodness Yumi and Odd were there to pull him to the top after he slipped. I liked the part where Ulrich said he would stay behind and take care of the wolves. He told Yumi and Odd to leave on the count of 3, but Odd didn't mean if he meant 1, 2, then go, or 1, 2, 3, go. Ulrich gave him a look of annoyance and told him to just go now. That was cool how Odd used his overboard to destroy the megatank. I didn't know you could swim in the tundra water. It had to be freezing! It's a good thing Jeremy launched a return to the past. That way, Ulrich didn't have to accept William's challenge. It's funny how William is afraid of spiders. I'm afraid of them too, but I thought a big tough guy like William wouldn't be afraid of anything. It's funny how Sissie told him about that fear.
  • Well Ulrich apparently has Vertigo, hence the title.

During gym class, the gang has to climb to the top of a wall that is fairly high. Odd clears the wall easily however, Ulrich seems to have trouble about halfway up. William then taunts him as he climbs higher than him. Ulrich then falls and the gang then realizes that he has vertigo. Ulruch leaves gym and goes off and sulks. Jeremie then soon realizes that a tower has been activated, and worse, Jeremie's anti-virus has made Aelita unable to be seen and she can't enter towers! Meanwhile, a pack of wolves attack the other three. Ulrich is chased while the other two get to lyoko to save Aelita while Jeremie fixes Aelita.
  • Ulrich gets vertigo, Jeremie tried his anti-virus and Aelita turns invisible, they get chased by wolves and such. Goody.

It's Code Lyoko, so I still give it a good rating.

We find out Ulrich is afraid of height, and William is afraid of spiders. Also, Ulrich falls of a cliff. It's fine...I guess. Ulrich almost gets eaten by wolves, and Yumi yelled at Jeremie. The end? I like it.
  • Ive seen better, but this isnt bad.

We discover that Ulrich is afraid of hights after he cant beat William in a climbing contest. After sulking for a while ,his friends inform him that X.A.N.A has launched an attack. Meanwhile, Aelita and Jeremy head for the factory. Oh, by the way, did I metnion Aelita is invisible?! Jeremy found what he though was the antivirus and injected it into Aelita. It turned out it was not the antivirus, it just made her unstable and thus, turn invisible. Ulirch fights off a pack of Posessed (I really should learn how to spell that considering I use it every season 2 review) while the otehrs head to Lyoko to deactivate the tower, which they do. Just in time agian, of course. The episode seemed a little boring, but was brought up by some funny lines and when Jeremy touched Aelita in some inappropriate way... (Laughs ti himself. Just watch the episode. Youll get it.)

This is one of the best episodes yet! It's the first episode of this series that's kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. The story surrounding Ulrich and what happened to Aelita were both very interesting. This is the most suspenseful episode since New Order. I look forward to future episodes.
  • Fears, wolves, heights, plots, it has everything that you want and even more!

I thought that it wasa good episode, I love the show and find it very creative. But the whole heights thing is just so out of context. In all of the episodes so far Ulrich has had no problems with heights, but Yumi has. I think that, that alone makes the whole episode kinda wannkee. Don't get me wrong the character develope was very good and the stoy kept you on you toes but, I found that one glich that bugs me. In all the one thing that really bugs me with this show is that it tens to not follow the other episodes.
  • Jeremie finds the anti-virus, Aelita turns invisible, Ulrich falls off a cliff... it's a very tense, exciting, on-the-edge-of-your-seat episode.

This is probably my second favorite episode of the 2nd season so far (my first being Marabounta). It so full of fear, excitment and suspense.

I was actually afraid when Jeremie found the anti-virus, for two reasons. One, the episode was rather predictable, and i knew something bad would happen, and two, if nothing bad happened, destroying XANA and Lyoko would mean the end of the show.

Yes, the episode was predictable, and it would ahve been better if it had been more inconstant, but i really liked it.

I especially liked some of the comebacks in this episode (It's no better than being afraid of spiders, if you can make jokes as bad as Odd's you must be okay, etc.) and definently liked Ulrich's character development.

Kudos to the writer of the show for another brilliant episode! I was literally on the edge of my seat waiting during comercial breaks.
