ulrich is the star of the soccer field. the big game is coming up and he wants to do his best. his father is coming to watch. with his grades bad as they are, he wants to please him somewho. when xana attacks ulrich refused to leave the game. until the second half, he fakes getting hurt to take jeremey call. xana attacks the soccer field making everything float away. ulrich comes out the window and climbs in zero g's to his father. sensing he was going to die ulrich father says he's proud of him. his ulrich grip fails and he floats away with the others. he he starts floating away too. a return to the past later, he's back that the game with his friends to cheer him on.

Ulrich is really good at soccer. I think it’s funny how the goalie gave up trying to catch the balls and he stood at the side of the goal instead and watched the balls go into the net. Seeing Sissie cheering with her batton was just sad. It was funny seeing her batton fly away when she threw it into the air. Her reaction was hilarious! The comment some girls said to her at lunch was funny too: “Hurry up and eat your steak and french fries before they fly away.” I think this is the first time I've ever seen Jeremie get mad at Ulrich. Ulrich is my favorite character, but I'm with Jeremie on this one because it was pretty selfish of Ulrich to refuse to help Aelita on Lyoko because of the soccer game. I feel sorry for Ulrich because of his dad's wanting him to be first in everything. My dad used to be like that too, so I know what a burden it can be. I liked the news broadcast Millie and Tamia were doing of the soccer game. It was funny when Tamia focused the camera on Ulrich and commented on how cute he looks when he runs. I think it's unfair how everyone depends on Ulrich to score the goals and stop the other team from scoring. What's the point of having a team then? I know this another mean thing to say, but that was awesome how Ulrich, Sissie, and Mrs. Hertz were flying around the hallways. I've always wanted to fly. I absolutely loved the part where Jeremie told Ulrich to stay inside no matter what. His voice, the music, and the lights flickering seemed so eerie and scary. I can't believe Ulrich jumped out that window! That had to hurt. That trick Aelita performed was awesome! I really thought she had killed herself when she fell off that ledge she conjured. Jeremie's reaction to what Aelita did was hilarious! I thought it was sweet and brave when Ulrich saved his parents from falling into space. I'm suprised he was able to hold onto them. That was sweet how Ulrich's dad told Ulrich he was proud of him before he let go and fell. It was kind of sad though; especially with the background music.

One of the best episodes of the season. We find out a ot about Ulrich's character and the relationship that he has with his father. Xana is getting more creative with every attack and thats a good thing. No Ulrich/Yumi moments in this episode, and thats what kept this from getting a perfect score. I adore Ulrich and the way his character is written.He is mysterious and yet a strong guy. This is one of my favorite episodes. Also, I loved the way Sissi's baton went up into space ad never came down and everybody laughed. Again, it was a terrific episode

I understand Ulrich's trouble with his decision. Kadic's soccer team can't win without him, but on the very day of the big game X.A.N.A. launches an attack that could send the school into orbit! Helping Team Lyoko would seem like a no-brainer, but it's not that simple. Ulrich's Dad wants him to be great at everything, but Ulrich's grades aren't so good. As a result, the only way for Ulrich to impress his father is when he plays soccer. The rest of the gang has trouble in Lyoko without him. Ulrich is caught by a really tough decision- should he make his father proud if it may endanger their chance of saving the world?

I think this was a great episode. Some have been better, but this episode was a real tearjerker and also pretty funny at some parts. I was totally cracking up when Sissy threw her baton into the air...and it just kept going! That was hilarious! Odd's sarcastic answer when Aelita asked if there was anything out of the ordinary was extremely funny, too.

Later on, I was glad that Ulrich decided to help the gang with the gravity problem instead, and, in the end, we learn that his Dad is truly proud of him after all.

This episode is one of my favourites. The plot is interesting with Ulrich leaving his friends to go to Lyoko alone when he wants to impress his parents at his soccer game. I thought it was so good of him to leave the pitch to save his teacher in the building. That scene was so funny when they were flying all over the place with the zero gravity. I loved Odd and Yumi's attack on the biggest ever swarm of hornets, when Odd had his laser arrows to attack with Yumi using her telekinesis to protect him with boulders. That was awesome and showed real teamwork. Overall this episode was tension filled with the small disagreements between Ulrich and Jeremie, action packed with the Lyoko battles, and funny with the soccer match. Definitely one not to miss!

This episode was fantastic!!! We learn that Ulrich takes soccer very very seriously and that since Ulrich gets pretty disastrous grades, his parents (more his dad) expects him to play amazing soccer to make up for his grades. Ulrich is striker on the Kadic soccer team and they have a championship game against another school that is as good as Kadic. Unfortunately, during this day, XANA launches an attack. First, Sissi is practicing her cheering for the game and she throws her baton into the air. She waits for it to come down but it never comes back. It keeps going up and up and up into orbit. Sissi tells everyone at school but they think she is weird and start making fun of her. The Lyoko gang thinks it could possibly be XANA. When Yumi tells the rest of the gang that she had mysteriously floated, they know for sure it is XANA. Ulrich says he would rather play soccer then go to Lyoko and Jeremie and Ulrich have a bit of a fight. Odd explains to Jeremie the situation between Ulrich and his parents and how they expect him to play amazing soccer. Jeremie sends Yumi and Odd to Lyoko while Ulrich plays soccer. XANA takes control of the lights which let him use anti gravity to send everyone into orbit. Everyone at the soccer game is going to get sucked into orbit if the Lyoko gang can't save them!!!

Well, Sissy was throwing her boton to practice for the soccar game, and it went into orbit. Of course no one believed her except Jeremie who then looked for a tower. Jeremie soon realized that Xana was attacking but Ulrich refused to go because he had to impress his parents with his skills, since he does bad in everything else at school. Jeremie tries to counter Xana but he finds he can't very well. Ulrich then has to go save Mrs. Hertz because she was the onlyone left in the school. Overall, I thought the episode was touching near the end.

It all starts out as Ulrich practicing soccer, he scores every goal and Jim tells him that the team can't win the game without him. They finish practice and Ulrich goes to Odd and Jeremie who are watching him practice. Odd says "We will be here right now and we will be here in the game" "But not for you we just can't wait to see Sissi with her batton thats why we are coming!" In the woods Sissi is practicing with her batton she throws it in the air and it doesn't come back.



Later, Yumi is walking through the woods to go to school, and the lights started blinking and she suddently was floating in the air. Back at Kadic, Sissi is telling two girls that her batton never came back and they didn't believe her, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremie believe it is Xana.



In the cafeteria Yumi comes and Jeremie and Yumi say at the same time "We have to talk!" Back in Jeremie's room, the are talking to Aelita and what happened to Yumi. Yumi says "We can't take the risk we have to go to Lyoko and deactivate the tower" and Ulrich says "Well count me out!" Everybody is stunned, Jeremie starts yelling at him because he is not coming and says "And Aelita she is probably in danger and you you rather kick a ball around!!" and Ulrich says "Well I said I can't go and thats that!" he leaves the room and he says he is sorry, Jeremie says "Sorry?! Is that all! You rather please the fan, they are more important then your friends!", then Odd says "Leave him alone Jeremie, he has his reasons, have you ever met Ulrich's dad? If you arent first then you are nothing in his book and since his report card is kinda disastruss the only way to please his dad is..." Jeremie says "...when he plays soccer..." Yumi smiles and Odd says "Yea exactly he is playing todays game as if his life counted on it." and Aelita nods.



In the locker room Ulrich is waiting there sad for the team, Jim says this is there chance they have to win todays game, and then Matt comes from the other team and Ulrich and Matt stare at each other. In the woods Yumi, Odd and Jeremie are walking to go to the factory, Jeremie says "Why couldn't he have just tell us?" Yumi says "Ulrich? Tell a secret?" then Odd says "Why worry? Ulrich is going to win the game and we are going to save the world...besides you got me don't you?" Jeremie and Yumi smile.



Back at Kadic, Ulrich and the team are waiting to start the game, reporters Millie and Tamiya are there, and Sissi and the other students are chearing, Ulrich looks at his mom and dad, and they start the game, Ulrich runs down the field with the ball he passes it to a teammate as Matt is coming to steal the ball, he does a slide tackle to steal the ball from the player and the ball bounces off, Ulrich comes, kicks the ball and scores! Back in the factory Yumi and Odd get viurtialized, Aelita is waiting for them and they head off to the tower, Hornets are there waiting for them, they destroy more of them and have 1 left, but then a new swarm of Hornets come. Back at Kadic Ulrich scores another goal, Jeremie has found out what Xana is planning to do and calls Ulrich, Ulrich says he can't leave the game, and says "Shut up Jeremie, just...shut up" and hangs up on him. Then Ulrich goes and tries to steal the ball but gets tackled and "injures his knee" he leaves the game, but Sissi doesn't believe it and follows him.



Ulrich calls Jeremie to tell him he left the game, he goes inside to look for Mrs. Hertz. Back in Lyoko Yumi and Odd try a new tactic, Yumi uses her telekenisis, to guard her and Odd to fight the Hornets. At the science lab, Ulrich has secure Mrs. Hertz and Jeremie goes into action, but everything becomes impossible and Xana attacks again, Sissi comes flying through the building and Ulrich catches her and Jeremie tries again. But Xana changes his mind and attacks outside. In Lyoko the telekenisis has tired Yumi and Odd is running out of arrows, Aelita comes and makes a path for her to get to the tower, the Hornets see her and goes to stop her, Odd says "No Aelita is too late!" one of the Hornets shoot Aelita and she falls off. Odd and Yumi are sad, and Aelita says "Just let me know when you are finish crying" Yumi says "You were just luring them" and she says "Why of course" Jeremie then yells "Aelita you are the greatest!!!!"



At Kadic Ulrich tries to save his dad and mom from going into Orbit, everyone else is floating up, Ulrich tries to hold on to them and his dad says "I'm proud of you, I really am" and lets go of him and Ulrich yells "Noo!!!" In Lyoko Aelita goes into the tower and deactivates the tower just as Ulrich is going up aswell.



After the return trip, Ulrich is back in the game, this time Yumi, Odd and Jeremie are there to see him. Odd yells "Go Ulrich you are the champion!!" and Jeremie says "Yea but which world?" and Odd says "Why both Jeremie both", the game starts and Ulrich kicks the ball and the episode ends.

Ulrich is practicingfor an upcoming soccer game and doing very well. When Sissi, a cheerleader at the coming game, throws her baton into the air and it never returns during practice, the gang suspects X.A.N.A. They head to the factory, but Ulrich refuses, saying he needs to go to the game. After being yelle dat by Jeremy, he leaves the room at which point Odd explains that Ulrichs dad wants him to be first in everything. And due to Ulirchs poor grades, soccer is the only way to prove himself to his With Yumi and Odd with Aelita on Lyoko, Jeremy discovers what X.A.N.A is trying to do. He intends on sending the entire soccer field into orbit by "shuting off" the grvity in he area. Jeremy calls Ulrich to tell him to get everyone out of the building (Mrs Hertz is the only one) but he refuses to listen. Ulrich continues to play the soccer game, but does so with a aguilty conciouss, thu very poorly. He decides to leave the game for Mrs Hertz. Sissi follows him into the school to see whats going on. At this points, X.A.N.A starts messing with the gravity, sending Mrs Hertz, Ulrich, and Sissi crashinginto walls and ceiling. Then, while carring Mrs Hertz out of the building, Ulrich looks out the window to see that X.A.N.A is trying to send evwryone outside to space. He jumps out the window and grabs onto his fathers hand as he begins to fall upwards. As his dad slips out of Ulrichs grip, he admits that he is proud of Ulrich. Just in time, of course, the tower is deactivated though and everyone is saved.
