Umm There are probably a ton of African American people who watch the how and aren't offended by it. But allow me to put this in a language you will understand. SHUT UP !1!!!!!!1

I'm black and watch the show and really though I see it as stereotype of a stereotype of the "common black man". I mean De La Pena made the minoriteam, and its pretty hard to take anything that can be deemed offensive seriously with him.

I'm black and I don't find it offensive. It's funny, period. I think its hilarious that he's an intellectual (accountant, college grad, speaks Japanese), multitalented, and doesn't have a problem busting a cap in someone's @ss. He's one of my favorite characters on the show.

I'm black and I'm not offended by the black steve thing either. You really have to watch and know more about the show before you start making assumptions about it but still not even at first glance was I offended by black steve. He's one of the funniest characters on the show he gets some of the best lines.

HEY DUDE, one black guy to another, SHUT THE F**K UP, thats part of the joke, his name isnt even Steve they call him that for an unspecified reason. Given that accounting is difficult and it takes a quick mind and he is the 2nd funniest character on the show ( Dave being the first ), give it a rest, or you could find another show.
