Set in California's Channel Island this show was about the combined efforts of the Police, Fire and Ocean rescue squad. The focus was on a small island town, and not the normal big city although the situations were basically the same.
I seem to remember alot of young buff shirtless males, and a cool fire boat. Code R introduced me to the dimpled chin of Martin Kove, and the chisled pecs of James Houghton. It was like most programs of that time, -good clean entertaining fun- with no nudity, no profanity and a happy ending at the end of the hour.moreless
