  • one of the WORST knd episodes

this might sound silly but i was actually embarrased when i watched this i was like omg this is the worst pilot a show could have it was out of character and so badly proportioned? i think i dont know the (italic)exact (not italic) word i have no idea what to put in this review exept IT WAS BAD
  • Horrible pilot...

    Codename:Kids Next Door (5.7)

    No P in the Ool:

This episode was the pilot episodee of KND. And...well...I didn't like it that much. It was okay. If you ask me it was kind of oring. I mean I love KND and all but not this episode. The animation was a bit weird. Different than the other episodes cuz it was the first episode. Well...the mission was kind of dumb and their voices were really weird in this episode. Numbuh one was so stupid at the end and the kiddie pool??? I can't believe they wanted to go there when Mr Wink and Mr. Fibb told them to...Well i give this episode a 7.5. Diseasy Does it:

    Three words:

    "I HATED THIS!!"

    I give it a 1.1

    Operation: C.A.K.E.D

This episode was okay. I didn't like Laura Lumpin A.K.A The Big Bad whatever it was...I really don't like The DCFDTL. I mean what is their problem??? Can't they share the cake?? And if they don't want to what's it to the KND?? But anywayz...what is wrong with Laura? I seriously hate her...This episode was dumb. But okay. I give it a 6.7.moreless
  • The very first result.

    Operation C.A.K.E.D.

This is the second episode of Codename:Kids Next Door. For those of you who haven't watched it I will say that it won't be difficult for you to see that it is from Season One.The lines of the heroes are more wider. The graffics are a little "poorer", but I think it's a great episode. It enspired the other four C.A.K.E.D. episodes.(I can't understand one thing - there are five C.A.K.E.D. episodes all together. We hear in each one from the DCFDTL "OUR birthday..."and we hear from the team "Every year".

It is sed that Sector V has children which are 10 years old.

If everything is true every episode has to be exactly one year after the other. It isn't possible because they won't be in the Kids Next Door after C.A.K.E.D.-T.H.R.E.E.

Maybe the DCFDTL are lieing about having "their" birthday and they could have five seperate birthdays that are in an interval of under one year in which they all take part.)

There is strange change of surcumstances and our five heroes have to take strange and dangerous parts in strange and dangerous games that are played by the strange and dangerous Lora Limpim. Will Sector V escape with the cake?

    Diseasy Does it?

For those of you who can't understand why this episode, which has no KND stuff in it is doing here I will explane. This is another Warburton creation which has a long story behind it.I'll try to make it short.(I don't know if this is true, so forgive me if I make mistakes)This episode enspired the creation of Codename Kids Next Door. The animation is called Codename:Kids Next Door, maybe because Tom Kenny, which is the voise of Kenny, lived next door to Warburton's house.(I'm NOT sure). And Professor XXXL appears in Codename:KND several times. This episode is the icon which enspired the creation of another icon.

    No P in the OOL

This is the first KND episode and it is totally different. The Sector V treehouse looks different, the other children are little and it is the only episode which doesn't use an acronim. But it shows what the Kids Next Door are about.

To me these episodes are the foundations of this glorious animation.moreless
  • The first episode of KND

Not the best episodes of KND but than again it was the pilot episode of the show so you have to give them credit. I've been watching Codename Kids Next Door before I saw the pilot so when I saw this pilot episode I thought it was really interesting to see how the design changed on the colouring and other things. My thoughts on the Kenny and the Chimp show I was really interested in that one since it seemed like a good consept at the time. The first C.A.K.E.D. episode was really cool in my view. So anyone who has not seen any of the KND episodes yet and they see this and get turned off by it try not to be since it does get better from the newer episodes.moreless
  • A pretty dull episode except for No P in the Ool.

CAKED: Not my favoite. Kind of boring. It has been forever since I have seen it so I do not remember much of it.

Kenny and the Chimp- Diseasy Does It or Chimp n Pox: It was alright I guess. I\\\'ve seen better and I have seen worse. Nothing compared to KND though. It was Mr.Warbuton\\\'s original idea for a show. I\\\'m glad he chose KND for the show though.

No P in the Ool: This the show I fell in love with. I still remember the day that they first played it. I could not wait for the show to come out. This episode brings back memories.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (6)

    • In this episode, Numbuh 4 wants to swim. But later in the series, he can't swim.

    • Running Gags:

      No P in the OOL

-The KND's thwarted attempts to get into the adult pool.

Kenny And The Chimp: Diseasy Does It

-Kenny getting diseases that change his physical appearance and is actually seen naked.

      Operation: C.A.K.E.D.

-Whenever Laura gets angry over things she doesn't like and/or agree with, she changes into the Big Badolescent.

-Numbuh 2 being unable to get into the DCFDTL's mansion.

    • Look Hard: Some of the swimmers in "No P in the OOL" return in Operation: C.A.K.E.D. as party guests. Additionally, Kenny and Chimpy from the short "Diseasy Does It" can be seen in "No P in the OOL".

    • In one scene Lenny's football helmet was only white.

    • In "No P in the OOL", when Numbuhs 1-5 get launched out of the rocket, Numbuh 4's hair is red inside his pod, instead of blonde.

    • When Numbuh 4 says "let's do it" in "No P in the OOL", Numbuh 2's voice is heard instead of Numbuh 4's.

  • QUOTES (10)

    • (All the partygoers are tied up to their chairs and forced to stay for the party. They sing a for the Delightful Children in a very dull manner.)
All the Partygoers: It's your birthday, not our birthday. It's your birthday, not our birth day. Birthday Hooray.

    • (A pig-headed Kenny waits impatiently for a cure to "Swine Flu" on the phone)
Kenny: (staring at Chimpy) Hey, Chimpy! Don't just sit there, do something!
(Chimpy starts doing random actions while Kenny is still waiting for an answer on the phone)
Kenny: (notices a box on the wall) "In Case of Swine Flu." Chimpy! The box, Chimpy! Open the box!
(Chimpy opens it, revealing a cook)
Cook: Bam! Look at the bacon sizzle!
(Kenny looks at the bacon, which causes the pig to detach from Kenny's neck and run outside the office window in fear; Kenny eventually regains his original head and stares outside the broken window in awe)

    • Kenny: Now, Chimpy. If you think that you're gonna--
(pauses, only to find Chimpy climbing on the shelves)
Kenny: Chimpy, get down from there! (Chimpy knocks over some sample jars) Don't do that you're gonna-- (manages to catch one jar) Chimpy! (A giant jar falls on Kenny, then breaks open) Hey, what's that label say? "Swine Flu?" (starts panicking, then rushes to the phone)

    • Guy on the phone: "Horrible Disease Help Me" hotline. Disease, please.
      Kenny: I've got Salmonella Fitzgerald.
(starts singing like Ella and then looks around confused)
Guy on the phone: Salmonella Fitzgerald, like that famous jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald? Wow, you're not gonna believe this. I actually know how to fix this one. O.K., to cure the Salmonella Fitzgerald all you need to do is lick a chimp. Trust me, it works every time. But don't ask where you can get a chimp, especially this late on a Saturday.
Kenny: That's right! It's Saturday! Where am I going to find a chimp to lick on a Saturday? (scats like Ella)

    • Numbuh 1: Hey, what did you get me?
      Numbuh 3: NOTHING! HA HA!

    • Numbuh 1: Why are we in the kiddy pool?
Numbuh 3: Because the water is nice and warm?
(Everyone in the pool looks down at the water)

    • Kenny: Now, Chimpy. YOU'RE NOT supposed to be messing around with these jars. There's bad stuff in them. Like this one here called... (Struggling to read) Salmonella.. Fitzgerald. Hmm. Sounds like the name of that famous jazz lady, but it's probably a super-deadly disease! That is why chimps should not be allowed to touch these jars. Chimps are just not careful (turns and accidentally breaks the jar). Excuse me, Chimpy, but I have to go use the phone.

    • Numbuh 2: This is your captain, Numbuh 2, speaking. At this time we would like to request that you HANG ON TO YOUR UNDERWEAR!!! Wa ha ha ha ha hoo!

    • Numbuh 1: Numbuh 4?
Numbuh 4: Right. First, I'll be cleanin' your adult-lovin', prissy clocks, and then I'll be takin' that cake.

    • DCFDTL: Wouldn't you prefer to open the gifts AFTER our little game is finished?
Laura: But I wanna open them (Starts to transform) NOW!!!
DCFDTL: Fine, fine, fine, we'll open the gifts. Just stay calm.

  • NOTES (9)

    • KND logo: Charlie's Angels
The KND's logo bears a resemblance to the logo of the late 1970s TV show Charlie's Angels in which the main characters' silhouettes are all standing in one place. Also, Numbuhs 3, 4, and 5 are positioned exactly like the silhouettes are in the Charlie's Angels logo.

    • The Big Badolescent: The Incredible Hulk
Laura Limpin (A.K.A. The Big Badolescent) is an obvious take on The Incredible Hulk, with the difference of getting pimples on her face, instead of turning green like the Hulk.

    • Episode Title: Chimp N' Pox
This is a pun of the popular, but very annoying disease, "Chickenpox".

    • Episode Title: Diseasy Does It
This is a pun off of a popular saying, "easy does it".

    • Mr. Fibb & Mr. Wink: Bond Villains: Mr. Kidd and Mr. Wint
The KND villains Mr. Fibb and Mr. Wink were based from the Bond villains Mr. Kidd and Mr. Wint from the Bond movie "Diamonds Are Forever" (Played by Putter Smith and Bruce Glover). The similarities are uncanny from their looks to their polite, charming and evil style. The only difference is that Mr. Kidd and Mr. Wint aren't mutated from animals.

    • Ba da ba boom da da da zing da boom da ba!: Ella Fitzgerald
The woman Kenny turned into was the late jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, as mentioned by the guy on the phone.

    • Chef: "BAM! Look at that bacon sizzle!" Emeril Lagasse
The man that pops out to scare the pig away from Kenny's head is famous Chef Emeril Lagasse from the Food Network.
