Episode Summary

Operation C.A.K.E.D.-F.I.V.E.

Once again, a special birthday cake is being made for the Delightful Children from Down the Lane. The KND take a trip to the Alamode where tour guide Numbuh 50 Million B.C. tells them about the 1800's KND operatives who were determined to steal the Annoyingly Cute Triplets Who Lived Upon the Hill's Birthday Cake, a delicious cake made by their mother. But in their attempt to get the recipe, an ice cream trap was set off, freezing over 5000 KND Operatives. It took 10 years to thaw them out, and all were decommissioned since they were technically too old to be KND. All were found except Numbuh 19th Century, until the current KND recently discovered him. After being thawed out, he's confused by the new modern era, especially with the fact there are now girls in the KND. Numbuh 86 takes offense and takes him up to the moonbase for immediate decommissioning before they're intercepted and captured by Father's Ice Cream men. Meanwhile, Father has his latest cake prepared in deep space, and he discovers the Annoyingly Cute Triplets' Mother's secret recipe on 19th Century's chest, a major treasure for him considering she was his great-grandmother. Father hopes to improve the cake for his children, in hopes of giving them the best birthday ever. But the KND mount a rescue to save their comrades.

  • Sector V head off to stop the Delightful Children from not sharing their birthday cake but letting everyone hthem enjoy it instead.

I really liked this episode and it was really cool and funny at different parts.

I think the most favourite parts (for me) would be the Star Wars parodies such as where Numbuh 5 senses that millions of Ice-Cream just suddenly vanished into nothing, just like in Star Wars Obi-Wan or Luke sensed that millions of people just let out one big scream and dissapeared.

Also when Numbuh 1 was fighting Father with the candles it looked like the last fight between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader.

Yeah, this was a really cool episode and I can\'t wait to see Operation: C.A.K.E.D-S.I.Xmoreless
  • My favorite episode

i really like this episode. The plot wasent all over the place, and the romance is just plain adorable. it was my all time favorite, and for just about only one reason. It introduced my new favorite couple, numbuh 19th century (coolest guy ever) and numbuh 86 the sexist girl of the KND. although he did get decommishend in the end i still adore the episode. I also enjoy the bit at the end with numbuh for stuffing his face with cake. i love numbuh 19th century, he is like 100 something years old but thats ok XD. all in all this episode was extremly good and i recommend you record it next time its on, you wont regret it. unless you like another numbuh 86 couple, but this is adorable, the even kiss :D :D :D AWWWW. i hope this was kind of useful, but i dont really think so...unless you like romantic episodesmoreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • After the cake is split in half, Numbuhs 1 and 19th Century try jumping towards the ice cream truck, but episodes like B.R.I.E.F. and R.E.P.O.R.T. show that Numbuh 1 has jet boosters inside of his shoes, so couldn't he use his jet boosters and grab Numbuh 19th Century and then fly to the ice cream truck instead?

    • When the Ice Cream Men's ship cuts through Father's cake, you can see Numbuhs 1 and 19th Century trying to get to the transport. Wouldn't they die in outer space?

    • If Father's great-grandmother lived in the 19th century, then the events in A.R.C.H.I.V.E. couldn't have happened very long ago.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Father: I love to bake. Why, it's more than a hobby, really.

    • Numbuh 86 (after yelling at Numbuh 50 Million B.C.): This guy is like forty-eight kamillion years old!
Numbuh 19th Century: Now see here, Missy! If you want to do something useful for us boys, why don't you go whip us up some figgy pudding? I'm famished. And while you're at it, my britches could use a good laundering. And don't you think...(gets clobbered by Numbuh 86)
Numbuh 86 (dragging Numbuh 19th Century behind her): Out of my way!

    • Numbuh 5 (disguised as an Elite Ice Cream Man, with shackled Numbuh 3 pretending to be her prisoner): Uh... we found this girl trying to eat some icing on Tier 237.
Numbuh 3: Yeah, so if you could just tell us where our friends are so we could break them out, that would be grea- (is elbowed by Numbuh 5) Ow! What?
Elite Ice Cream Man: Aren't you a little short to be an Ice Cream Man?
Numbuh 5: I'm taller then that guy.
Elite Ice Cream Man: Who? Steve? Aw, get outta... (Numbuh 3 squeezes his shoulder to try to knock him out) Thanks. I had that worst crick in my neck for the last... (Numbuh 5 blasts him with an ice cream gun)

    • Numbuh 86 (to Father): HA!! The Kids Next Door will find your cake, whereever on Earth you've hidden it!
Father: FOOLS! The cake isn't anywhere on Earth, YOU'RE STANDING ON IT!!! Only in the cold void of space could I construct the perfect ice cream cake ever for my delightful children.
Numbuh 19th Century: Cake and ice cream, together? That's not possible! (begins talking to himself)
Father (to Numbuh 86): This kid doesn't get out much, does he?
      Numbuh 86: He's from the 19th Century.
      Father: Get outta here!
Numbuh 86: No, really! He's like never seen cars and stuff. Go on, ask him anything.
Father: Say, 19th Century kid. You wanna watch a cartoon...on the television?
Numbuh 19th Century: What is a cartoon, and what is this thing you call "tele-vision"?
(Father and Numbuh 86 burst out laughing)

    • Ice Cream Man: Hey, they're having a party down on cell block! (The others cheer and leave with him)
Father: Hey, I didn't give permission for a party! What, noone invites me? I may be evil, but that doesn't mean I don't like to party down once in a while.

  • NOTES (13)

    • When the ice cream men's spaceship cut through the cake, it was playing off the scene when the Super-Star Destroyer hit the Death Star in "Return of the Jedi."

    • Alamode: the Name may be a reference to the Alamo

    • Birthday Cake: Death Star

The birthday cake in this episode is an obvious play off of the Death Star from the Star Wars trilogy. The laser was used to destroy planets in the movie, but here, it destroyed ice cream factories. In addition, Numbah Five exclusively plays the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who felt a disturbance in the Force, when Aldeeran was destroyed by the Death Star. Here, she feels a disturbance in the "Force", when ice cream around the world is destroyed as well.

    • Episode:Star Wars

This epsidoe heavily combines Star Wars Episode Four and Episode Six together. The cake itself i this episode and its ice cream-destroying weaponry is a reference to the Death Star in the trilogy. Father sits in his chair and watches the construction, much like the Emperor did. Number 86 and 19th Century were trapped in a jail cell, like Princess Leia Organa and Numbers 3 and 5 break them out while sneaking onto the ship and distracting the ice cream men, who resemble storm troopers. Number 3 even does the everything fine Han Solo line. Nigel and Father also have a sword fight with candle, similar to Vader and Luke's fight in Episdoe Six. That and many other references suport the Star Wars franchise.

    • Twice in the episode Numbuh Three tries to knock out guards with the Vulcan Nerve Pinch, a technique used in the show Star Trek.
