S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E. is the sequel to Operation: C.L.U.E.S.

In Operation: S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E. we learn that Mushi is five years old.

Operation S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E. is the third episode to be narrated by a character. The first was "Operation A.R.C.H.I.V.E." by Numbuh 1. The second one was "Operation P.I.N.K.E.Y.E.", that one and this one both done by Numbuh 2.

It is fitting that Spankulot is in "Operation S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E." since the title has spank in it.

Numbuh 5's dad returns in Operation C.L.O.W.N

Villains: Clowns (sort of), Mushi, and King Sandy with his minions.

Operation C.L.O.W.N. is a Numbuh 2 and somewhat a Numbuh 5 episode.
Operation S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E. is a Numbuh 2 vs. Mushi episode.

C.L.O.W.N. stands for Curmudgeon's Lackeys Outlaw Wacky Nonsense.

S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E. stands for Stuffed Puffy Animal Now Kruelly Enacts Nasty Spanking To Investigator's Notable End.

Running gag in Operation C.L.O.W.N.: Numbuh 2 keeps telling bad jokes such as "Is this the bathroom or am I in France?" and gets hit with pie.

Credits: Count Spankalot and Grandma Giligan discuss the good old days together. Numbuh Three is so annoyed by this that she yells at them to stop. Grandma then asks the Count if he's married.

Numbuhs 1 and 4 didn't appear in either episode.

Mushi wants revenge on Numbuhs 2 and 3, for getting her grounded in Operation C.L.U.E.S., with the involuntary help of Count Spankulot.

Operation: S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E recounts events from the episodes "Operation: P.I.N.K.-E.Y.E." and "Operation: C.L.U.E.S.", both of which involved Numbuh 2's detective skills.

Although they all appear, Numbuh 3, Tommy, and Mrs. Gilligan barely have any speaking dialogue in Operation S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E.

Second time Mushi technically becomes a villain.

King Sandy and his Knights of the Round Towel briefly appear at the end of Operation S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E. without any dialogue.

Second appearance of Joe Balooka.

S.P.A.N.K.E.N.S.T.I.N.E is the second episode with Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 3's family
