AIRED:
Good news - Numbuh 4 has gotten a new pool in his backyard! Which is too bad, since Numbuh 4 can't swim. Even worse, this pool in particular is portal to an opposite dimension, where the KND (Or DNK) rules with an iron fist, and the Delightfuls and Father try to help kids! So now it's up to Numbuh 4 to save both worlds from the DNK's sinister master!moreless

  • Best episode of KND yet!

    10
    It was great to see the KND get thrown into an opposite universe where everything that they had grown to know had been turned upside down! This episode proved that even with all the odds stacked

    up against them, the KND persisted, never losing hope or giving up the fight! I sure hope they do a sequel to this episode, where Negative Numbah 4 invades the KND world to get revenge! That would be totally amazing!moreless

    the new pool numbah 4 got leads to an alternate dimension, where we see counterparts of the KND, and an evil negative numbah 4 is leader. Now, our KND has to stop the evil negative numbah 4, with help from the counter delightful children from down the lane and father. Will they be able to beat negative numbah 4 or is he simply too powerful?

    Great episode, maybe even one of the bests of the series. It is somewhat low on humor but the action and plot more than make up for that, I think, anyways, it gets an A+moreless

  • This was wonderful.

    I love this episode. It's my favourite. In it numbuh 4 has a new swimming pool. His friends come over and swim but numbuh 4 can't since he doesnt know how to swim. It turns out that numbuh 4's pool opens a portal into the negative world. Numbuhs 1,2,3,5 and lizzie are kidnapped. When numbuh 4 finds out that the people he's with aren't his friends(he finds out when he looked into negative numbuh 3's eyes) he beats negative numbuh 1,2,3 and 5 and goes to rescue his friends which he does. He defeats negative numbuh 4 and stops his plan from taking over the world. This episode was the best and numbuh 4 even learns how to swim when he was forced to jump into the pool to save his friends.It also has 3/4 proof and numbuh 1 could tell that when he looked into eizzil's eyes it wasn't lizzie.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • Negative Numbuh 3 tells Numbuh 4 she dosn't like him, which means Numbuh 3 likes him.

    • Numbuhs 1 to 5 are rather good operatives in the KND. So if their DNK counterparts are their opposites, why did Negative Numbuh 4 say that Negative Numbuhs 1, 2, 3 and 5 were the greatest warriors in the DNK?

    • Numbuh 1 and Lizzie were in swimming costumes but when they went to the negative world, they were wearing their normal clothes

    • In the Negative World, the nega-father looked like the man in A.R.C.H.I.V.E. who made the punishment of spanking, and could actually be father

  • QUOTES (12)

    • Numbuh One: You don't get it, do you, goat-boy? Not one of us will ever work for somebody who only rules by fear.
      Negative Numbuh Four: (Yells angrily and throws a weapon at the wall) At least I do rule!

    • Numbuh 4: Let me get this straight... You want me to betray my friends so I can work for you?!
      (Punches Negative Numbuh 3)
      Numbuh 4: You MUST be from another world...

    • Negative Father: You're from the other side? Where kids are free?
      Numbuh 1: Well, more free than here, that's for sure.

    • Numbuh 2: (Exhausted) Why are you doing this... ?
      Negative Numbuh 4: It's quite simple, really... I'm EVIL!

    • Numbuh 3: EEWW! What is THAT?!
      Negative Numbuh 4: Oh this? It's my goatee. It makes me look eviler!
      Numbuh 3: No, it makes you look DUMBER!
      Numbuh 5: Yeah, that thing should be called a nasty!
      Numbuh 2: Oh, oh, oh, oh! I got one! I got one! Okay... You should give that back to the goat you stole it from!
      Numbuh 5: Please man, you are hopeless...
      Lizzie: You know, I bet the Negative Numbuh 2 is really funny!
      (Laughter)
      Negative Numbuh 4: SILENCE!! I'm supposed to be torturing you guys here!
      Numbuh 1: Belive me, that peach-fuzz IS torture!
      (More laughter)

    • Negative Numbuh 4: (Is surrounded by both positive and negative operatives) Oh, crud.

    • Negative Numbuh 2: Check it out Negative Numbuh 5... a cow-ard, with a goat-ee! Either there's a farmer around here or you stink!
      (Everyone laughs)
      Positive Numbuh 2: That's not funny... That's not funny at all!

    • Negative Numbuh 86: I'm tired of pretending that what I'm doing isn't work, I want to pretend to be a... pretty princess!
      Numbuh 2: (Whispering to Numbuh 3) That is definitely Numbuh 86's opposite.

    • (After jumping pool and coming out on the positve end)
      Negative Numbuh 4: Finally a new world. A new place to rule. I think this place will be a positive experince for me. (Looks up to find Eizzil standing over him)
      Eizzil: Get off my friend's world! ((Smack)

    • Eizzil: So how could you tell I wasn't your stupid girlfriend?
      Positive Numbuh 1: 'Cause when I look in Lizzie's eyes, I know she's not a jerk!

    • Positive Numbuh 4: (To Negative Numbuh 1) What are you waiting for, princess? Let's dance.

    • Negative Numbuh 1: You shut up... dummy head.
      Positive Numbuh 1: I know you are, but what am I?
      Negative Numbuh 1: Uh.. umm..

  • NOTES (30)

    • It's possible that Eizzil could be Negative Numbuh 49.

    • Since the DCFDTL were the missing operatives of sector Z, the LTDFCD must have betrayed the DNK.

    • This is similar to the Sonic Underground episode "Six Is A Crowd".

    • Fifth full-length episode.

    • Operation: P.O.O.L. is a Numbuh 4 episode.

    • Villains: The D.N.K. and Lizzie's negative counterpart.

    • If you look, you can see that some DNK weapons are versions of actual KND weapons!

    • response: that was eizziL when negative numuh 4 came to the positive world.

    • Still about names in negative world, the negative side of the helmeted member of the DCFDTL (or in this case LTDFCD) should be Ynnel(Lenny, from Operation U.N.D.E.R.C.O.V.E.R.), the tallest one's name is Divad(David, from Operation Z.E.R.O.) and Negative Father's name should be Nietselggiw(Wigglestein, from Operation A.R.C.H.I.V.E.) or Tcideneb Onu(Benedict Uno, from Operation Z.E.R.O.)

    • We see the helmeted member of the DCFDTL (or in this case LTDFCD) without his helmet, though he does wear goggles.

    • Destructively Nefarious Kids --- S.P.L.A.T.T.L.E. --- Smart-alky Prisoner Lobotomizing Apparatus Terrifyingly Tortures Loser Enemies.

      Another resemblence in this episode to Star Trek's "Mirror, Mirror" is the fact that the computer voice describing the DNK technology is male (like the I.S.S. Enterprise) compared to the female computer voice (like on the U.S.S. Enterprise) in the KND universe.

    • Although Numbuh 4 defeated Negative Numbuhs 1, 2, 3, and 5, he apparently pursuaded Eizzil to turn over to his side (she did not appear with the four DNK's when 4 forced them through the portal, and she was waiting to stop Negative Numbuh 4 when he went through). Exactly how Numbuh 4 managed this is not revealed.

    • Credits: Wally gets his wish to play in the sand...by filling his pool with the stuff and of course singing about it even when nightfall comes.

    • Apparently, Numbuh 4 isn't afraid to hit a girl, as proven when he socks Numbuh -3. (Or maybe he was just infuriated by the fact that an evil version of Kuki was trying to persuade him to betray the real one, but still...)

    • Father's negative side looks exactly like Mr. Wigglestein from A.R.C.H.I.V.E., which, well, figures!

    • Operation: P.O.O.L., part 1, focuses mainly on Numbuh 1, making it a Numbuh 1 "episode". Part 2 focuses on Numbuh 4, making that a Numbuh 4 "episode".

    • Due to the rules/laws of the negative world, these are what the children's names would be as followed:

      Legin 'Eigin' Onu (Nigel Uno)
      Eigaoh Nagillig (Hoagie Giligan)
      Ikuk 'Skook' Nabnas (Kuki Sanban)
      Eeballaw 'Yllaw' Selteeb (Wallabee Beetles)
      Liagiba 'Ybba' Nlocnil (Abigail Lincoln)
      Enicnarf 'Ynnaf' Etirbluf (Fanny Fulbrite)

    • Destructively Nefarious Kids --- S.P.L.A.T.T.L.E. --- Smart-alky Prisoner Lobotomizing Apparatus Terrifyingly Tortures Loser Enemies.

    • This episode is very similiar to the Charmed episode, It's a Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad World. The only real difference is that the kids would have been messing with the 'Grand Design' of things which would make both worlds exaggerate on what is good and evil.

    • The fastfood restaurant that Mr. Beetles goes to work at at the beginning of the episode is the same chicken place that the chicken men from Operation: N.U.G.G.E.T. work for.

    • The Delightful Children From Down the Lane's counterparts are called the "Little Traitor Dudes For Children's Defense", or LTDFCD, which is DCFDTL backwards.

    • The anti Lizzie's name is Eizzil.

    • D.N.K. stands for Destructively Nefarious Kids.

    • Once again, Numbuh 4 proves that he's not as dumb as most people think. He figures out - by himself - that if -4 is his opposite, than -4 must be a coward. Perhaps the case with Numbuh 4's supposed stupidity is that while he's not "book smart" (as proven by his poor schoolwork), he has a great deal of street smarts at his disposal.

    • Numbuh 4 was able to know that Numbuh 3 was actually Negative Numbuh 3 by looking at her eyes the way Nigel did. Living proof that he loves Numbuh 3.

    • Every negative character is a mirror image of the "real" character.

      -1 is timid and a follower;
      -2 is actually good at making jokes and isn't very bright;
      -3 is cold-hearted and mean;
      -4 is smart and is a coward (not to mention that he leads the team);
      -5 is a nerd;
      -86 is kindhearted and helpful;
      Lizzie's counterpart is aggressive and overbearing;
      the Delightful Children's couterparts are informal and hip (although they still talk in unison);
      Father's counterpart is a goofy and clownish guy who loves kids.

    • Numbuh 4 finally learns how to swim.

    • P.O.O.L. stands for Prevent Opposite Operative's Larceny.

    • Last Operation: B.E.S.T. scenario.

    • Despite the title, this episode has nothing to do with the show's pilot, No P in the OOL.

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • Negative Numbuh Four: What's taking them so long over there?!? Those idiots are looking at a one-way trip to the broccoli mines if they don't set up this portal before adult swim!

      This was a in-joke to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim which comes on late night.

    • Negative Numbuh 4: So, who wants to go first for a get out of jail free card?
      Get out of jail free cards are used in Monopoly.

    • "Mirror, Mirror": Similarities
      As was preciously stated, this episode was inspired by the classic "Star Trek" episode "Mirror, Mirror". In that episode of "Star Trek", Mr. Spock's evil counterpart had a goatee, just like Negative Numbuh 4 did.
