Marlene Majors has a husband, 2 children and a boyfriend when she goes missing. Bill, Marlene's husband simply tells everybody that she just left. But Marlene's boyfriend doesn't believe it. Police find evidence in Marlene's diary that Bill was convicted of abusing 2 other boys back in 1976. It seems he was up to his old tricks again. Only with his own children this time. But without hard proof the police have to let Bill go. Bill packs up his kids and moves to Rhode Island. He begins a new life there but cannot let go of his past behaviors.
