Episode Summary

When a young woman, Rosie, wakes up from a coma, Lilly re-opens the fall in which her 6-year-old daughter Toya died. Toya Miles was a 6 year old girl who loved butterflies. Her mother, Rosie was on welfare and desperate to make her daughter's childhood better than her own. In May 2001, they fall from a window in the apratment, ending Toya's life and putting Rosie in a coma.

In this episode, I thought there was just too much going on for it to be interesting. I mean, you got this and this and this. Eventually I was just like, 'okay is there a point to all of this?'. Rosie had a sad life. All she needed was someone to turn to and there was no one there to help her.

The episode carries stronger emotion the closer you get to the end. It's worth a watch.moreless

I love this show most of the time but this one didn't do it for me. I didn't understand the red herring with Angel and her telling him she had them on tape. Was this just to show how messed up she was? My biggest problem was that she didn't go to jail I understand that she was damaged from her childhood but she killed her daughter! The saddest part was Rush describing what her dad did to her. I did like the Rush back story as this was the first time she talked about her mom. The version of Heaven at the end was beautiful but overall just okay.moreless

  • Sad to see, even just the last 5 minutes.

I came in on the last 5 minutes of this episode, and i am still crying 10 minutes later. I honestly dont know if i can watch the whole episode.
Just the last few minutes with the mother kissing her daughter and cuddling her was when i started, and then to see the mother trying to deal with what had happened was extremely upsetting.
On second thoughts i might try to watch this one day, just so i can see how it works out, although i cant promise anything.
If the last 5 minutes of this episode is anything to judge the series on, then im surprised i havent gotten hooked on this show before!moreless

I had a hard time watching this with out crying. Show hit on so many levels, trying to over come so much and just needing to find some help that you can trust. Even worse is that this show shows exactly what it is like when your in this situation! It makes you sad and sick to your stomach! The show brought tears to my eyes and I had to keep pausing it and restarting it. I love the cold case it is so real and it doesn't go overboard it sticks to cases that many can relate to in one way or another like this one I can.moreless

This was in my opinion a very good episode. Of course all episodes are but this one was good. Watching this episode you find out a little about Det. Rush. This episode made me cry and cry. I don't usually cry after any television show. But in this episode they had sappy music playing at the end and it was in slow motion which leaves you bawling like a baby. I DVRed this episode and I kept rewinding the end and I cryed for hours. I think this was a special episode!!moreless
