I've noticed that there arent any postings regarding music that is on the show, and I personally like the music they choose it fits each senerio very well.So lets make a list of the songs.

CBS.com list some of the music. But www.have-dog.com/coldcase/ has a lot of the music. It list each ep the song, artist, album and the scene it was played in.

Cold Case has the best tv show ensemble of music out there, tearing on the heart strings at points- ie The Sleepover the last tearjerker song...uugghh! Tissue please!

Cold Case gotta come out on DVD so I can watch the episodes that I've missed.

But yes, the music in CC is wonderful, it fits every scene and theme perfectly and without the music CC would probably not have been as touching and sad as it is.

Re Episode "A Perfect Day" - Does anyone know the song playing when the cops (Art) shows up at Cindy's house?  Have-Dog list it as The Wedding by Julie Rogers but I think that's incorrect (I thought The Wedding by Julie Rogers was a version of Ave Maria?).  CBS list it as "Where Was My Wedding Dress" by Opus 1.  The title sounds right but not sure about the artist.

According to TV.com, "Where Was My Wedding Dress" in this episode was by opus 1. I hope that helps.

I love the music that they play on CC, it's what makes the show even better than most crime shows.

It would have to be a pretty big CD, who knows how many songs have been on Cold Case.

I liked the music in "8 Years" and "House" because Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash are favorite musicians of mine. And I loved some of the music in the episode "Superstar." "I Feel The Earth Move" by Carole King, "I Am Woman" by Helen Reddy and "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon. Those songs are awesome and Carly's song is funny no matter how many times I hear it.

I am a big fan of the music on CC. Its the special touch that makes the shows tug at your heart-strings. The teenage mother in The Goodbye Room sings You Are My Sunshine to her little girl. I had experienced my secong miscarriage only the day before so I truly felt her pain. I babysit my two-year old cousin during the week and now I call her my sunshine because she truly is. When I sing You Are My Sunshine to her it makes her smile and puts her right to sleep. Its amazing how much a television show can affect a person's life. Its episodes like this that make CC my favorite show.

I prefer it when they play more modern songs, but only because I heard half of the stuff they use before.
