  • Great Episode! Better than the pilot!

    "Perfect"
Great Episode! Better than the pilot! The case was great! I feel sorry for the daughter but hope she can now move on. The father is horrible, even after 20 years he still shows no remorse.
Loved this episode - hope there are more like this in the future!
  • Woman with one of the worst hairdoes in the history of tv gets killed by a bomb.

    6.2
    "Fair"
The problem of the show seems to be their lenght. It does not succeed in drawing plausible characters. The story has a basic appeal, but i still i neither understand why the murderer was not found before - bombs are quite uncommon means to kill a housewife or why the was no other way for the "obsessive" husband to get his ring back (divorce the woman he means to control)

by the way: the victm had one of the worst hairdoes ever seen. maybe she was killed because of this.

    still quite entertaining.

what i really can not stand: the corny music at the end of each episode.

  • A woman is due to give eveidence against a man accussed of indencent exposure when she is killed by a homemade bomb. Her young daughter survives and the husband, who is a fireman arrives on the scene. Heartrending, or so it seems....moreless

So after twenty years the case is reopened and the investigation slowly works its way back to the husband! He had left a box of laundry detergent on the back porch, phoned his wife and said "I have left something for you" The bomb kills her instantly and he had come from the fire station..... The look on the face of the victim's ghost was a real 'how could you' look and catipulted Cold Case from an ordinary pilot to a powerful episode. (in my humble opinion) The reaction of the daughter was disbelief and shock.... Smugness caught hubby out!moreless
  • Again a great show

The finace of a late fireman goes to the squad
And asks Lily and the team to investigate
A bomb that went off from the laundry detergent of a woman who was just minding her own business
And doing the laundry while her daughter was out playing back in the 80's
The fireman lost his wife and nearly his daughter had she not been playing
Again it was a great show as well as great acting and will only get even better!moreless
