  • 17yr old Sarah needs to redefine her life, but looses it in the process. Having lost her father she finds a new family in the Jackals.

    A terrific episode. I felt a little disappointment in their casting of some of the 1976 actors, however this didn't detract from my enjoyment overall of the show.
    Having a good few people to choose from as suspects we get to see alot of back story but not as much as we've seen before in other episodes.
    SPOILER

    Sarah lost her father to jail after being convicted of a crime. Upon his release he finds a photo of her taken on the 4th July weekend a little before she was murdered.
    Trying to deal with the loss of her Father, Sarah becomes involved with Darren a member of the Jackals. After some time she offers to earn her keep and comes face to face with the harsh reality of being involved in a bikie gang. At the end when we see the killer, I don't think it will be a surprise to many to who it was. I think they could've pushed a bit more on the darkness of a bikie gang in the 70s rather than just a touch of it, we really didn't get to see her fear or reason for wanting to run away except for a brief moment with "Monster" perhaps that could've had a more imposing aftermath.

    The stereotypical good girl into biker dude gets killed. This episode was pretty much as expected. I loved Scotty's feeble attempt at going toe to toe with Shameless trying to play tough guy. He needs to give that up. I liked the twist that Monster was actually an undercover cop who had gotten in to deep. I was glad that Lil acknowledge knowing what an undercover's life is like when she interviewed monster. Lil busting a taillight in order to pull Libby over gotta love that. I found the appearance of SWAT within this episode a surprise but not really given the situation. The great twist was at the end when it was revealed that Darren turned his back and walked away as Shameless killed Sarah.moreless
