"Love Conquers Al" is the first episode of Cold Case I ever saw and it is the reason why I am a fan of the show. The acting and writing for this episode is very good and all of the actors, regulars and guests, do an excellent job in their parts. What also makes this episdoe stand out is the great music that is used from beginning to end. There are quite a few reasons why I enjoyed "Love Conquers Al" and I hope you will enjoy it too.moreless

    "Superb"
This was the first episode I ever saw of Cold Case. I thought it was really cool the way they flashed back to the past & I particularly liked the way they'd intertwine the actor portraying the person of the past with the actor portraying the person in the present form. It was sad that the young couple felt they needed to kill the victim in order to erase the boyfriend's infidelity but hey, stranger things have happened.

(The music was great but "Who Can It Be Now?" by Men At Work didn't come out till the following year so it was a little off but you definitely got the early 80s feeling it was going for.)moreless

so corny it was wonderful. after all the years, after separation, the murderer and his former love, get together again to atone for their sins. destiny formed a bond, which will never divided. normally i hate such stories, but this
was so overpowering, that i had to admit, that deep inside
me, i must be a woman.

    • The Texas Cadet Murder This episode was more than likely based on the actual "Texas Cadet Murder" in 1995. Upset that her boyfriend David Graham had cheated on her with 16-year-old Adrianne Jones, Diane Zamora convinced David to kill Adrianne to prove his love for her. On December 4th, 1995, David lured Adrianne out of her home and into his car where he later attacked her (with Diane in the backseat). Adrianne ran for her life only for David to catch up and ruthlessly shoot her to death. The events have been made into a TV movie, called Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder, starring Holly Marie Combs as Diane Zamora. Edit
