  • After finding the drug dealer who was the prime suspect in the 1998 murder of Ana, the team reinvestigates.

This is quite a boring episode if I do say so myself. I couldn't keep from looking at the clock every 5 seconds. I just could not get into the storyline. It was just all about drugs, didn't even feel like a Cold Case episode to me.

I don't know what these writers were thinking when they come up with this idea for an episode. Did they think people would be on the edge of their seats because it provided a little insight into Scotty's past? I hope not because it didn't really matter.

I mean, it was sad at the end before she died, when it showed how she wanted the simplest thing. But that was about it. My advice to to just skip this one. 39 minutes just for that 1 minute of goodness is definitely not worth it.moreless

  • If you don't want to be disappointed, don't watch this episode. Young Scotty is in it.

I honestly found this episode one of the worst looking back from the future in 2007. I watched it the first time & then it came on repeat the other day but I didn't watch it all again. Basically it is about a woman smuggling drugs into the US. Scotty was a young undercover cop in this episode. In the flashbacks he had hair growing under his lip in a long rectangle shape & I hated seeing him with this punk look, it was ugly. I also didn't care for the storyline either. I think it played up on stereotypes of the mexican woman unable to get a decent job, the drug dealer and priest. Don't watch it!moreless

    I really liked it.
It is a sad story and a crude and truthful depiction of reality. Maybe too much blood but that's what's happening today. The girl could have fulfilled her dream and got out of drug dealing if her so-called friend hadn't betrayed her. That Judas! That rogue, her so-called friend's boyfriend, slaughtered her just because she didn't have the drug pellets he wanted.

In the end we see those drug pellets still hidden in the church (sanctuary of God) near the Virgin Mary's statue.

It was really touching the moment she sees herself as a secretary at the window when her killer comes and takes her away. She realizes she was going to die and sees her dreams fade away.moreless

  • One word describes this episode... boring

    "Poor"
I was so bored watching this episode I ended up changing the channel several times during the hour. I hated the plot, the characters, and the reason why Scotty was involved. The priest angle was very disturbing too. Even a hint of the priest taking advantage of the girls was horrible to watch.

This episode could have been a lot better, but I just couldn't get in to it. I would have like to see the characters developed better and maybe even have Scotty a little less pure. That gets old fast. A case of too many characters and no depth. I hope the next one is a lot better or I just won't bother.
