Flashback to 1966. The events take place on a ship infamous for its suicides. We meet Darcy Curtis, on the S.S. Atlantic's final voyage. Darcy mysteriously ends up dead in the engine room, clad in a red gown with the other people on board under the impression she jumped to her death…
As always, the obvious suspect, an employee of the family is actually a ringer and the difference in political tone makes it clear, this murder took place in the 60's.
The love story between liberated woman, Darcy and, Duke is captured perfectly in the soundtrack of this episode. Borrowed from 'Oklahoma,' the song "People Will Say We're in Love" reflects the pair well during Duke's memories of their relationship.
While the team worked on the cold case, the Lily and Kitchener subplot continued. Lily is rightfully bothered. After all, Kitchener did leave her for dead in the icy river water.
