  • Did not like the side story with Scotty and his brother

    "Fair"
This is why I'm getting sick of these crime shows. The cases are more interesting to me than the personal lives of the main characters. I'm sick of hearing about Rush's horrible childhood. And could they possibly give Scotty more personal trauma? First the girlfriend with mental illness who may or may not have been murdered. Sleeping with Lilly's flake sister and now a brother who might have been sexual abused. Come on.
  • When a prosthetic arm is find in the river, the detectives re-open the 2004 missing persons case of Dana.

    "Fair"
Dana Taylor was an Iraqi War veteran who had just returned home with a prosthetic arm after she was bombed. As most soliders are when they come home, she was traumtized by what happened over there and found it hard to get her life back to normal upon returning.

There have been quite a few episodes of Cold Case that in some way or another involve a war and this is one of them. The others had great storylines and were quite sad, but this one just didn't have that. I think the saddest part about this episode for me was when the daughter was saying she was scared of the prosthetic arm and didn't really want to hug her mother.

In my opinion this was a very boring episode. It wasn't absolutely terrible and it wasn't in the middle either. I don't think I'd watch it again.
  • Great story but bad writing and roles for certain cast members.

    "Great"
I liked the story and the song that played in the background like Dido's "White Flag" and Oasis "Little by Little". However, looking at that daughter didn't exactly look like her parents. I think the two other detectives, Vera and Jeffries are given badly written scripts. They sound so porno in their dialogue. They should do the writing instead. This episode reflects that. I liked the Taylor's and their friends; felt real. Great job on Dana Taylor. Lesley Fera. The emotion and the passion of the crime was realistic but I wasn't too sure about divers finding the medal was realistic.
  • Very sad show indeed!

It was a very sad show indeed when a mother who was crowned a hero in the Iraqi war, later murdered when she came back home as her two daughters want to find out what happened the night that she died. Meanwhile, like one reviewer said, didn't like the case about Scotty and his brother. But overall a good show.
  • I thought that this episode of cold case was a really good one. I ended up crying so hard when the woman was being burried. It really hits home because my brother and his wife are in the army with two daughter. One is going to Iraq. My favorite episode.
