One of the things I liked best about this episode is that we learn about Nick and what he was like as a young cop. Helping a new immigrant family from Russia. Sadly, the talented singer is murdered not long after her arrival to the country. Years later we learn, that although talented, all she wanted was her own voice. Not the voice of her parents or her teachers, she wanted her own. Unfortunately for our young singer, she got caught in a triangle that she wasn't even aware of. This episode shows that regardless of time or even culture, parents always think and want what's best for their children. They're ultimate desire is their safety and happiness. Lil hasn't let the issue of Mr. Cooper drop, this is going to be interesting to follow.moreless
