Highlight for a spoiler:

Highlight for a spoiler:
Det. Jeffries is relieved of his desk duty when Lt. Stillman strikes a deal with the new ADA to solve Grant Bowen's case.
Goof: The show begins in a hospital in 1984 with Grant Bowen attending a heart attack victim, identifying him as a "55-year-old that needs a stent". However, the first coronary stent was not implanted in a human until two years later in 1986 in France. The first coronary stent in the US was not implanted until 1987 and was not approved for general medical use until 1993.
Grant Bowen died in August 1984.
Goof: Near the end of the show, when Scotty and Jeffries are interviewing Tisdale, there is a short flipped scene when Tisdale mentions the birds. You can see that the moles that are usually above his left eyebrow and on his left cheek have moved to the right side of his face (left side of the screen).
Look closely: In the background when the team goes over the victim's case file and evidence, the box containing the evidence from the Kayla Odoms case (from episode 2-13: Time to Crime) can be seen.
Highlight for a spoiler:
Noah Pool's real name was Anton Bikker.
The show is being consistent with the timing of Will Jeffries' birthday. In episode 2-22: Best Friends, which aired on May 8, 2005, he turned 60. Now in this episode he had his 61st birthday. We can assume that Det. Jeffries' birthday is in the beginning of May.
Highlight for a spoiler:
Det. Jeffries was put on desk duty for an indetermined period of time as a punishment for punching ADA Danner in the previous episode.
Lorena Kinney died on July 17, 1945.
Kate Lange was murdered on June 4, 1994.
Goof: When Lilly leaves the bar with her drink to make a phone call, the level of the red liquid in the glass seems to go from about one-third full to more than two-thirds full as she starts to sip it.
Due to the age of the case, the team doesn't have many first-hand witnesses to question. Most of the flashback scenes are told through a diary, written and recorded interviews, and -- quite unusually -- a song.
From Lilly's remark of her mother not finding Christina, we can tell that her sister is still missing and running from the authorities.
Like most of the opening teasers, this episode showed the victim in her period setting, surrounded by people that may or may not have been involved in her death. Unlike the other teasers, it's revealed that this victim dies almost a year after she is first seen, instead of within a few hours afterward as is usually typical with the series.
We finally get to meet Lilly's mother, Ellen Rush, played by Meredith Baxter.
Highlight for a spoiler:
Lilly makes an interesting phone call to someone we haven't heard from since the Season 2 premiere -- ADA Kite.
Violet Polley was killed on Christmas Day (December 25th), 1929.
This is Lilly's oldest cold case so far -- 77 years.
In the eighth grade, Det. Vera played Danny Zuko in the school's production of Grease.
