Goof: Kate Butler is said to have died Saturday, November 15, 2005. However, November 15, 2005 was on a Tuesday.

Patrick Lennox was killed on November 22, 1963.

Gonzalo Luque was killed on October 21, 1999.

Nitpick: The opening shot is of people walking down a Philadelphia street in shirt sleeves and dresses, yet the caption reads January 30, 1958. The average January temperature is 25 degrees Fahrenheit.

Julian Bellowes was killed on November 7, 1958.

As Lilly and partner interview a possible suspect about 1/2 through the episode, he is wrapping up what appears to be an AA meeting. They're in a meeting space that looks a bit more like a funeral home parlor than an AA meeting room. There is a framed piece of artwork on the wall (in a familiar feel-good, rah-rah format). It is labeled "Perfection." AA never speaks of perfection. In fact, the refrain is "Progress, Not Perfection." As they show this in the background, the meeting chair admits to a relapse, and directly contradicts the notion of perfection. Someone on the production crew was either ignorant, or was introducing some irony to the set design.

Julie Ramierez was killed on October 31, 2004.

Henry "Pops" Walters was killed on March 15, 2009 (the original air date for this episode).

Nitpick: In the episode, they refer to Darren Malloy's motorcycle as a Sportster 883. This is not possible since Harley Davidson did not start making the 883 Sportster until 1986.

Sarah Blake died in July 1976.

Ben Feldman disappeared on September 21, 2008.

Roy W. Dunn was killed on June 6, 1967.

Jane Everett was killed on November 3, 1988.

Ed Dubinski died in November 2007.

Allison "Ally" Thurston was killed on November 18th, 1960.

Dexter Collins died in October 2005.

Goof: At the end of the episode, Nick puts a magazine in the case box which is already completely filled. However, when he puts the lid on, the box is filmed from inside and there's over an inch of free space.

Rita Flynn was killed on July 4, 1953.

Nadia Koslov died in December 1989.

Danny Finch died on July 20, 1969.
