The Summer of Love When the team finds out that the victims were killed in the late 1960's, Lilly says this referring to the era. The Summer of Love was a phrase given to the summer of 1967 when the hippie movement began in San Francisco. The term is often mistakenly used of the summer of 1969 -- the year this episode's victims died -- because that is when the Woodstock music festival took place.
