  • Lily struggles with the shooting.

Lily is still dealing with the aftermath of being shot. It looks like the aftermath of being shot is still affecting her life. She pretends to be tough, but behind the facade, she is falling apart.

The case this episode focuses on a boy who has to decide who he is and who he wants to be. The struggle for identity is a common theme for young adults. It's just to bad the kid was murdered before he got to live his life. He was lucky that he found out he wasn't a criminal. He wanted more for himself.

It's even sadder that his jealous half brother killed him, when he was coming back for him. The flying bird at the end, while cliché, was very moving.
  • Show was too unrealistic

Cold Case writers need to stay in the time frame where the case is believable. Whenever they go back too far the characters are never old enough. Plus in the 100th episode interviewing a patient with Alzeheimers and then arresting him. It was a sad episode. This show is a wondeful show, but episodes like this make it difficult to watch. How old is the Lt. supposed to be? Come on they had him say he rushed home to check on the kids when the war of the worlds was broadcast. The actor wasn't born until 1952. Writers, please get it right.
  • Good one, I just don't get it.

The well known story of kids from back blocks that end up dead, in jail or shoot.

This kid was special and he got used because of that. Lily is done with the sessions, that question about if there was someone to call...this as a big effect on her. Her sister is running from the police I think and she doesn't get along with her mother... That's a big question...

Back to the case, I wish Will had hit Terrance's father, he deserved it! But Will is superior to that...

How can someone shoot his own brother? I just can't get it! It's impossible for me to think about that, that I would do that!

A bother or sister is someone your blood, is family and family is fr life no matter what...

The team investigates the murder of a 14 year old math whiz and it turned out that his half-brother killed him. I really like this episode. The story was interesting and the guest characters were interesting also. I liked the bird man and searching for the stars. It was really sad how it turned out, but I knew it was going to be the brother. Rush had her last session with the shrink and she seems like she got no where. I think she's going to keep having nightmares. I really don't like Rush's story. Overall, very compelling story and good characters and developments.
  • Not a bad episode certainly worth the watching but I have to say it wasn't great either and didn't leave the impact that the usual Cold Case episode leaves. Another tale of how people destroy each other and themselves in the bad part

Not a bad episode certainly worth the watching but I have to say it wasn't great either and didn't leave the impact that the usual Cold Case episode leaves. Another tale of how people destroy each other and themselves in the bad part Philly. We had great scenes with Jeffries almost roughing up a dead beat dad and tricking a career con. Pretty light on the established background info. Not much on Lily and her mental health just a passing mention and joke by Scotty. As to Scotty once again a pitiful passing mention of his ADA love tryst. Not a bad episode but not great either nice episode to give us something to watch till better ones come along.
  • This episode was so sad. (some spoilers)

A 14 year old genius Terrance Carter is found shot dead in the chest. The case gets reopened when his father wants his social security number. When they research they find it's been in use since the boy's death in 2002. They learn the mother used it to help pay for his burial. They talk to Michael Carter (Terrance's brother) who is now in a wheel chair and learn he hooked him up with a real bad guy to get money. They go and talk to several people who saw Terrance in the days leading up to his death. At the end we learn that even though he was pressured by his brother and possibly his dad, he turned away and came back for his brother only to have his brother kill him because he didn't want to cheat anymore. I can't believe his own brother shot him. Then the next year he got shot and is now in a wheel chair.
