Colonial House

Show Summary

True to the tradition of The 1900 House, The 1940s House, Frontier House and Manor House, PBS has crafted yet another way for ordinary people to "bond" on television. This time around, the participants involved were racially diverse as well as being both American and British. This was an eight-part series that aired two episodes back-to-back on consecutive Mondays and Tuesdays between May 17 and May 25, 2004. In this version, executive producer Beth Hoppe had selected people to bond in creating a community that would inspire the birth of the United States. 2004 Emmy Nominee: Outstanding Reality Program
