  • This is a fine example of good stand-up, but just barely.

    I was being kind of generous when I gave him an 8. Talking about his life as a special-ed kid got boring. And talking about shapes wasen't that funny. And his paintings could have been funnier if we could actually see them well. If I could explain this stand-up, it would go like this. Say you're up to bat and the team says if you strike out, back down to the minors. You come up and you have two strikes. The third ball IS a strike, but gets by the catcher. You run to first and make it. You had three strikes, but you still made it. Thats what this stand-up was like.moreless
