I mostly only watched this because Bob Saget was on it and I, of course, knew him as Danny Tanner on Full House. But this was far different than Full House; comedians make fun of Bob throughout the entire special, and make fun of the other comedians there. The host is John Stamos, and it's pretty much obviously nothing but making fun of the 'unfunny and talent less' Bob Saget. Some of the jokes were funny, but overall I think it could've been a little better, so because of this, I think my final grade for this roast is going to be somewhere in the "B" Rangemoreless

"I was offered a role on Full House but I turned it down because I wanted to stay in comedy."

This was not a particularly great roast. Suprisingly The Mary Tyler Moore Show veteran Cloris Leachman stole the show with her constant ripping of the guest of honor, Full House and the rest of the comedians. Norm Macdonald was funny too, but I don't know why he chose to do the bit trying to not be funny instead of just coming up with good jokes. I did like John Stamos' crack about him being on SNL and now just watching it, until a hooker stole his TV.

This was an okay show to watch after WWE Summerslam, and better than most Comedy Central roasts, but it could have been better.moreless
